Your earned EXP is what went down. According to my screenshots from this weekend, I had 64,668,472 EXP, and in game now, 24,618,260 EXP. They kept your % the same and reduced your earned EXP to fit it. Thanks Nexon, you always know how to please your playerbase >_>

Because before, during the EXPlosion, they just put you up to 99.98% if you hit the cap because of it.

Why does this shock everyone? Korea did it. It keeps people from logging in with 500%.

They didn't do it with the last EXP curve change. And besides that, it wouldn't matter if you logged in with "500%" cause you can only, at most, get 198% at a time. You might still lose *some* EXP, but this would only happen at extremely high levels (170+). Using my example I would have gone from 147 64% to 148 30-something%. Not a big deal and it keeps me from losing hard work. Instead they wiped millions of EXP per person out of existence for... what? It's bad enough we're going to have to do all our quests again, and they still give as bad EXP as ever.
