Did you know that you can actually play MapleStory using your Logitech PC controller? Logitech controllers are 100% compatible with MapleStory and if you havent tried it, you really dont know what youre missing!
Logitech and MapleStory would like to give you the chance to find out. You can find Logitech PC gamepads at major retailers with FREE MapleStory gifts inside. In fact, theres an EXCLUSIVE Gamepad Chair code* that can only be found in Logitech controllers.
Check out Logitech official Website for more information and great deals. Then get yourself a controller. Youll never play MapleStory the same way again!
*You have to redeem the code in the Cash Shop to receive the Gamepad chair.

Chair is ugly, and I'm sure most models won't even come with this code anyway. I use my own controller, but I can't even use a controller with Maplestory. I have too many buttons to assign crap too. I use use one for my Aran, and with that I just use my arcade stick.

Chair seems rather uncomfortable to sit on.

It's not having what you want - It's wanting what you've got.

Controller + Viper = impossible, unless your controller has about 50 buttons. @_@ I tried it once on JMS and it was just impossible. lol
Like Paul said, it would only be good for classes like Heroes who press one or two buttons every couple of minutes.

I might actually look into this because I need a new controller anyway and have always preferred the style of a playstation controller that logitech has clearly ripped off.

I have to say, it doesn't matter much for a game like Maplestory, but I've always found Logitech controllers to have poor quality. Crappy D-pads, sometimes rather slow response times, buttons that easily get stuck, and just an overall cheap feel to them.

I'm sure you have to actually open the plastic for the codes though.

Use alternating controller mappings? Like, when I hold the RT or LT on my XBOX360 controller, the functions of the other buttons change, so I technically have like 14*3=42 buttons (not counting the analog directions).

Eh, I looked into it, but the controller I have doesn't have that option. D:

That's not about the controller, you see. It's about the program you use to map the controller. For example, I use Xpadder and it does have that option available. And I know Joy2Key also has a similar feature.

Yeah... I don't know if it was just me, but when I tried to use the in-game Joypad setting with THAT EXACT CONTROLLER, it worked about as well as a ninja hippopotamus. I figured it would be fun to try out on my Aran. But no. I was not even able to activate double/tripple swing, no matter how I timed my attack button hits. No idea if they've fixed it sense, but I'll believe their "100% compatability" when I see it.
