Evolving Rings... "One of a Kind" & Stackable?
#1
Simple & short:

Obviously, players can't have 4 Lv17 Rings, but what about a Lv17, 16, 15, and 14 ring?

I don't think you can get 4 rings on 1 character. The others I don't believe are tradeable.

Since you can't do Resistance ring + Aran ring, etc, I'd imagine they fixed it so they're not stackable. But you never know.

You can make the rings tradable the last day, but we do not know if that only applies to a lvl 17 ring. IF it does, no multiple wear.

Info at the bottom of Lv0 ring:

"A ring that has not yet been evolved. No stats. / If you log in everyday and play for an hour, You can upgrade the stat of evolving ring everyday. On the Day 17, the ring will be exchanged to an exchangeable ring of the same grade based on its variable."

Implying that if you happened to miss a day (Thus a Lv16 ring) you would be offered a Tradable Lv16 ring. At to back it all up, Fiel's extractions show data for more than one tradable ring.

I will likely have 4~6 rings evolving for this event which I will test this theory. (1~3 Lv17, a 16, a 15, and a 14).

So there we have it. Now it would have to be coded to not allow multiple rings. So 17, 16 and15 combined with a crit ring?

IIRC with the "Double Pendant" feature in KMS, it became possible for a HTP and cHTP to be equipped simultaneously. Which offers the theory that multiple rings of different levels can be equipped together.

Lv17 - 5 atk/matk, 7 stats
Lv16 - 3, 5
Lv15 - 1, 5
Lv14 - 1, 3

So with the three best rings, you'd be getting 9 (m)atk, and 17 to each stat + whatever other ring you have equipped (Resistance/Aran/Cruel/Crit/VIP/etc)
Or with all 4, 10 (m)att and 20 stats.

Forgot about keeping an untradable one, data suggests that Lv17 untradable is not time-limited.
best 3 E-Rings = 13 att, 19 stats
best 4 = 14 & 24

The pendant slot expansion is a cashshop item that we do not have. It lets you rent an additional slot for x amount of days. It is irrelevant for this disscussion and the differecne between a Chaos Ht and a reg HT pend has nothing to do with this either. If we cannot equip them together it will be because of them being specifically coded to avoid just that.

Even if we can wear the 16-day ring with a 17-day one, that would be a glitch, same as the one that allowed multiple Lilin's Rings of different levels.
That one was patched.
I believe that this one, if they didn't prevent it to begin with (and Nexon's track record is such that they probably didn't), will also be patched, sooner or later.
I predict quite a few 14, 15, and 16 day rings on the market once that happens.
Personally, I'm going to try for as many 17-day rings as I can (on mules, to sell or use on secondary/future chars).

If its truely a glitch then why can they be made tradeable? Wearing more than one wouldnt be an issue then if this is unintended or one per account even.

I agree. i would not be so fast to jump on the glitch train. The Lirin rings was an event they altered and made an oopsie with. This here event is their own and we should hold of the judgement a while.

They're made tradable so you can buy one if you were for some reason unable to get one during the event (or started playing after it ended... like maybe a class we haven't got yet?).
If you were meant to wear several on one character they wouldn't have the one-of-a-kind tag on them.

You're missing the point. The "One-of-a-kind" tag is so you can't have multiple lvl 17 rings on one character, but that doesn't stop you from having lvl 14/15/16/17 rings on one character due to the fact that they're all different item IDs.

Technically, you're right. It was the same with Lilin's Rings. One-of-a-kind tag but different item ID's for the level 30, 50, and 70 ring, so you could have two or three on - until they fixed it.
The *intention* is clearly for you to have just one Big Bang ring, of whatever level. That's why they put the one-of-a-kind tag on them. The technical loophole may or may not exist, but to me it's clear that if it exists it is an oversight, and will be patched.

^ABOVE^I agree. Nexon won't allow this "unbalanced" thing happen, since people who hold 4 E-rings may take great advantages than those who miss the event, also this would probably lower the value of most other rings dramatically, game would be "unbalanced" again. Just remembr that there's no easy deal in this world, nexon won't give people great power just by asking them constantly log on for 17 days. The whole "one-of-a-kind" idea is there. Just remember how hard it is to farm a vip ring, the reason why we can wear multiple vip rings is probably because 1.it's not easy to get 2. it gives +all stat but NO att/m.att and acc/avoid and stuff.

I was thinking about getting different day rings too, but Lilin's Ring has better stats than Day 14 E Ring. You wouldn't need a fourth ring anyway unless they really remove the crit effect of the critical ring as rumored.

Why is this even a discussion. even if you CAN wear multiple rings at once when they're released, it will not be intentional on part of nexon (i.e. a glitch...) and patched whenever nexon gets around to it. The logic people use to ignore the fact that this exact situation has already happened once and that it won't come to the same conclusion baffles me.

I say just let them try and learn the hard way. That's the only way they will learn.
