About hot time event, from spadow's blog, this happened in KMS

Because in KMS you only get ONE SP reset scroll per character. The SP reset scrolls will be given until July 21.
There is no second chance if you screwed up distributing your skill points.
Though, actually there is a second chance but you can only get it on one day.
An event ‘Hot Time’ will be held on the 10th of July.
To get another SP reset you must be logged on from 2:30 PM till 2:31 Korean time. This event comes with a bonus, you can win other prizes such as Timeless items and Cash Shop items.
Anyway I didn’t screw up my SP so there is no need for me to play during 2:30 PM.
After this event there will be no SP reset scrolls given to you.

Once in a while there are pretty exciting MapleStory events. One of them is the Hot Time event. It’s an event where you have to be logged on before 2:30 PM.
When one minute has passed, you will get a package which has a SP reset scroll (100%) and a random item which can be a Timeless equipment or a cash item.
Today’s Hot Time event was different~ This time you can get a SP reset scroll and a mysterious love letter 100%! The mysterious love letter gives you a random amount of fame.
As a bonus, you can get either: a lucky medal, a cash item, useless potions, 60% scrolls, advanced equipment enhancement scroll or a secret mastery book.

All three are still in the game. The boat is in the six roads crossway (whatever the name is). Cash Shop of course is still there and MTS is on the same button as Shop (which branches into CS and MTS).

It was talking about the Hot Time event. You can't be in any of those or you won't get your SP Reset prize from it.

I mean, they could have shown some high level monsters which look cool or something, and they have pigs with glowing Yellow eyes, honestly. How is anyone supposed to take Maplestory seriously?
