Accuracy will not affect things all that much, no. But a 1 lvl difference wont make you miss like there was no tomorrow either, I'm sure.
But come on, just drop the old MS point of view, this is a new system, and really, there aint nothing odd with not hitting higher mobs at a 100% rate. Many games have adopted such a stance in the past.

And within a year most of those using that system actually had to revise it to allow at least players -5 the level of the monster to fight it before the accuracy reduction kicked in as players started complaining that it wasn't working right. If I remember correctly Final Fantasy 11, Ragnarok Online, and even Warcraft tried this... and it didn't last.

If you try to fight things 20 levels higher than you in WoW, you will get royally fucked up.

I did not say be totally crushed by monsters 5 levels above you, because you will not. You aint suppose to grind on higher level monsters with the new system though, and there is no need to do so what so ever. 5 levels below and you will se misses, but so what? You could kill the mobs for a quest without a massive headache, and if you wanted to grind you are obviously at the wrong spot. Forcing the new system into your mold of how the "good game" should be is kind of pointless until you have actually tried it. So far it looks to me as if the new system works as intended. I did test it in Tespia to some extent and I've seen no crying from KMS or JMS players. I

Hopefully the level 7x mobs are hugely buff then, cause my Aran's been training on lv.94 Galloperas for 70-75 because it's just better experience than any level 70-75 mobs give (including Windraiders, which blow everything else out of the water).
Aran functions best in mobs of high-hp high-exp monsters. Forcing players to fight at their level basically pushes them into the 1-2 hit KO, never see mobs of more than 3 situation.
Especially with Potential, there's a huge amount of strength buff to characters, that'll be fairly pointless since it doesn't let you train on anything stronger anymore.
Anyone know if I made a lv.120 Dawn Warrior on the new servers and server transfered it to Bera, would it be able to make a UA on Bera?

Remeber that KMS got no Singapore or Malaysia maps. You exp gain will not be as high, but you need so much less. Makes sense doesn't it?

7x mobs have ~15k hp (Magatian mobs have more than Ludi mobs), which is probably 1hko for an appropriately levelled char, definitely no worse than 2-hit. My level 62 Tespian Fighter, with haphazard Tespian gear, was doing 8k power strikes (10.5k crits)...

My 75 Aran is seeing 20k+ Combo Smashes (over 25k with crits)... I haven't looked through post-BB Arans so maybe that got massively nerfed (like, changed so it splits damage by target instead of doing 700% x 10). But I can't imagine 25k damage being too useful on mobs with only 15k hp.
Ed: Smash should be up to 17-23k non-crit with BB, and 55% crits doing 20-35k...

If they "forget" to handle SP resets... Well, I will officially quit.

They should reset all the AP and SP back to the minimum for your 1st Job class and let you rework the skills and stats for the new system. Resetting only skills that were removed or reduced is plain stupid.

Wait, were there SP resets in the Tespia data? Then I'm not worried anymore. They also didn't mention a bunch of other features and events, so it's not too troubling.
Anyway, we should see a quest for the SP resets in the extraction later, right?

There were also Evan non-CS skill books in the data too... So yeah, let's hope and wait to see what they do.

On the bright side, to level from 75 to 76 you only need to kill about 1270 Master Chronos, probably a matter of two hours tops. (Disclaimer: Haven't seen the new Master Chronos map so I don't know what the spawn is like). Or 1052 Sand Rats, but you'll be MISSing 10% on them.

It's not that stupid.
The vast majority of maplers have no idea what the new skills are or what their new build should be like.
Leaving unchanged skills alone allows them to continue playing, in some sense, the way they are used to, until they get it figured out and assign the freed-up SP.
However, some jobs do need a global reset, or at least a couple dozen free single resets, to get points out of less-useful skills that still exist.

I only have to kill 800 Galloperas, which is doable in an hour (I've been getting 80-100%/hr the whole time I've been at Gallos 71-75), I'll just try to grind to my best ability before the BB hits I guess, and hopefully come out on the upper side of the early 3rd job slump.

Oh no, that can't be right. Nexon (and herborist) says the grind will be less after BB except maybe for very very high levels who farm/buy rep to boot.

Post BB, in early 3rd job the number of kills to level actually goes down every level, until a minimum at 80.
(Ignore the pre-bb numbers, they assume training on mobs your level, so gallos are at 94)
