You can join the bandit bandwagon like...70% of people will post-BB.

Personally ill be playing my Shadower and Ranger.

What interests you?

Being powerful? Attacking from far away? Using magic? Moving fast?

This technically depends on what you are amining for.

If you aim to be my Partner, I would recomend you a paladin, High defence = less pots = less money spent.

I do not recomend an Evan or Dual Blade, since those require NX to be decent (evan needs it FAR more)

You may wait and start a mechanic or battle mage, those look like something you would enjoy, Mechanics have high defence, and Battle mages are overall preety fun.

Or you can dit bandwagon.

Do you like close-range or being a little further from your enemy?

Solarboy wants you to be his personal Combat Orders mule.

Corn has a nice thread on this, though it might be outdated.

I would go for cleric if you're planning on training with your pal there. (also, lol at title)

If it's the spoiler maze, that must be outdated with big bang and new clases.

You should wait until Battle Mage is released!

Then:

I/L mage if you want good mobbing skills and decent damage.

F/P mage if you want to do good 1-1 damage, they get a lot of Damage over time skills.

Bishop.... you don't want this :/

Battle mage if you want to do magical close ranged damage, as well as having decent party buffs (auras)

As said, if you are interested in magic i'd say F/P or I/L.
I think both are solid choices and are fun.

Wut? F/P Arch Mages have exactly two 1-1 skills: Energy Bolt at 1st Job and Element Composition at 3rd Job. I consider both of them hardly useful.
