So when is the actual patch?

Tuesday night? Monday night?

Will we be able to play on Tuesday, or is that just when the patch comes?

I believe it will be on Tuesday night, sadly.

I'm guessing that the patch comes on Tuesday night, and players will be able to play on Wednesday.

And then they'll have the inevitable extension, but won't reach the record of 24hours. Then everyone will go on all at once cause ZOMG BIG BANG MUST HAS and then cause the servers to be unstable. Then there will be crash-rollbacks and people will be mad at Nexon cause they did not foresee this and the inevitable Server check to fix the crashing problem, which will somehow trigger some sort of loophole in the programming, causing a severe hacking epidemic that was not forseen due to a thread about how Big Bang is going to be un-hackable. Nexon will then rollback more and everyone will QQ so much they'll give compensation to everyone while introducing new and improved gach boxes to redirect the rage into "happiness".

The various events, most notably the evolving ring event, start on the 7th.
Hence, they must be intending for us to be able to log in on the 7th with that event in place = after patch.
So the patch must start Monday night. Whether it will end early enough and stable enough on Tuesday for us to get a full hour online, is anyone's guess.

Ends Wednesday afternoon at 12:45p.m.

Pending the server check at 1:00pm that lasts until Friday 8:35pm and the rollback to December 5th due to some hackers and glitchers finding another exploit.

Judging from the event info, I guess it's Monday night.
But I wish the patch won't take more than 9.5 hours. Or else, I will lose all chance of getting Lv. 17 Evolving Ring due to school and weird timezone.

My guess it's going to start Tuesday (but very early, like 1AM for example) and will last about 11hours long (initially probably like 9hours- extended of course) so it should be up by time I get back from school. (I live in EST zone, so my 1AM thing is different for other people.)

Btw the only reason I guess they'll start it at 1AM is because that is usually the time they change the "How many days left" on the BB page, so it would only make sense.

Your 1AM EST is their 10PM PST which is when they usually start patches (albeit on Tuesday nights, not Mondays), so that works.

I'm a bit concerned about their being no formal annoucement of the hours yet, but maybe they are waiting until the "End of the World" event to do the "Oh No! Maple World is overrun! We're going downnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!" thing

Well the site says tomorrow, and my definition of a patch being released is not waiting till the next day (Wednesday) to actually play. Tonight or early tomorrow, of course I'm biased because I have work and 3 Classes on Wednesday and would have no time to play (calling in for both if this is the case lol).
