What's the matter Eos, losing your cool? You have appointed someone, who is personally favourable to you, who has previously shown me she is untrustworthy, and I am expressing an opinion. Regular users get infracted for posts as inflammatory as yours. Does any other moderator want to turn this in to a situation like that Adura one?

You're not expressing an opinion, you're being an ass, purposefully, knowingly and intentionally, with former mod experience behind you to know exactly what you're doing so you have no excuses for your behavior.

You're being petty, immature, childish and if you're demonstrating for everyone anything about my poor judgment it's how mistaken I was when I recommended you for moderator.

Everyone chill the f'uck down. It isn't in your place to criticize Eos' decisions. It is for the best. The only drama that's going on is because you guys are being whiny little children. And Eos, can you chill out, too, please? You're just putting fuel into the fire.

I kinda feel bad for the new mod, because both of you have gone a bit out of line and now you've turned her welcoming thread into a hate-filled thread with insults flying everywhere.

Rick is being a pissy little school girl and hasn't demonstrated a lick of maturity since his little harry-whipping incident where he stepped down. Now he's trying to throw up sour grapes over absolutely trivial crap as if she had the fate of the whole damn world hanging in the balance and went on vacation.

His posts were deleted because they have no legitimate bearing on this. They're not even remotely similar, and it's just Rick throwing another hissy fit trying to tear someone else down over his own sour grapes.

The only reason I'm even going to say this:
Even Isaac had made a post regarding her inactivity.
Do I think Rick is right? Partially. That a person's qualifications are being put into question is something I agree with, but hey that can only be quelled with her actions.
Does his comments being removed seem right? Partially. Yeah it's not fun seeing a negative view on things, but calling someone a "pissy little school girl" and an "angsty college student," while preaching about responsibility and telling someone to "Grow the hell up." does nothing to resolve the issue.

We delete trolling and drama posts on sight when they haven't been replied to. Always have. It's the easiest way to prevent them coming to fruition.

The only problem is doing so just leads to more problems. You stop a fire by putting it out, not by pretending it doesn't exist.

TaliaNCo you must participate. This is Southperry tradition. We celebrate it at least once every six months. If you miss out now, there won't be any cake left for you.

To be honest Eos, Rick has a point. Talia not updating a thread often due to real life makes sense, but he's saying that she never did it. I'm not saying that she HAS NO RESPONSIBILITY WHATSOEVER or something like that, but she does have to prove herself a bit more now.

I see no reason why his original post had to be deleted. You seem fine insulting him over it now instead.

I didn't see your posts because they were deleted. I am aware of your concerns though, and why. I could sit here and post every excuse as to why I had to leave that thread, but I'm sure it wouldn't do much good. Excuses are excuses and everyone has them. As Eos stated, yes, I have 4 children that consume a lot of my time. I also have two jobs now....one full time and one part time. And yes, our house we've rented for years was foreclosed on and we were unsure what would happen with that. (amont many, many other things that I will not go into) I did have to prioritize and Southperry just didn't make it to the top of my list. Considering my busy life, when I played Maple, it was MY relaxation time, MY enjoyment and MY time to escape real life....even for just a little while. I really don't play Maple any longer due to many reasons, but I enjoy doing something that I enjoy during my "ME" time. This is something I enjoy doing and I did it for a very long time before I ever started playing Maple. I'm looking forward to doing something again to consume my brain with other thoughts. It helps keep me just a little sane.

If you don't like me, or the fact that I've been given this privilege that's fine. You're entitlted to your opinion. I promise I won't lose any sleep over it. Though hopefully you'll change your mind at a later time and I hope you participate as much in the events as you have in this thread.

Delete your own posts and go about your business then. Replying with things like "Grow the hell up" isn't going to solve anything. I'm amazed you can't keep it civil, being the admin you are.

Both of you are being unreasonable. Going "BAT SHE A BAD MOD" won't do anything, Rick, and "YOU TAKE THAT BACK COKSUCKERBICH" isn't any better, Eos.

I look forward to TaliaNCo's events. Hopefully that cake is not a lie. There is nothing we can do to change the past. Might as well be looking at the present or how things will play out in the future. If the thread in question is the only mistake that has been presented for why TaliaNCo shouldn't have this position, then that means she still performed suitably in all other cases. I'm sure that if we look through some of the threads that we have made, there are at least one or two that we cringe and regret writing in the first place.

I'm not going to sit here and write a detailed essay on why your reasons aren't good enough (which is not my belief, by the way) because, contrary to Eos' beliefs, my goal is not to sit here, piss and moan about everything on Southperry, and tear you down piece by piece to destroy you. Why don't we just stop this here. Talia has responded, so rick, eos, and whoever else is acting like someone stuck a rod up your ass, calm down.

None of you are entitled to do anything to try and get her fired. This isn't a democracy, it's a business. You can dislike her all you want, but you're just proving her more suited for her position. The only drama involving her that's happened is the drama YOU, have started.

Dual........it's easy for me really. I have 4 children and I work in a bar lol. It's a good thing I can't say on here what I would normally say at work to the drunktards. ;P Due to those factors combined, it would take a whole lot more than this to make me quit lol.
