Welcome to the team, Talia! :3 I hope we can work together to make some of the most memorable and fun events Southperry has ever seen. Your kind and open personality is well suited for your new position. I'm sure you'll have no problem thinking of and coordinating many excellent events. Eos has faith in you, and that's all I need to have faith in you, too. And as always, I hope you enjoy your time here.

Seems as though people think I'm skeptical without reason, but that would be because my last post was deleted. I'll say it in a nicer way, then. TaliaNCo, my skepticism around you being an events co-ordinator stems from your unwillingness and/or failure to maintain a thread as small as this, or alternatively this, which resulted in my own takeover for many months. Why should we think this, clearly a much bigger and more time consuming job, will be any different?

She's not a moderator, Rick. She's just going to plan/host events. That's like once a month, maybe 5 hours total over a period of days depending on the event. It's not a full time job.

If Talia couldn't handle the simple responsibility of updating the Quest Kings thread, how can we expect her to coordinate events properly?

Just want to clear the air on one thing here. For the most part, my only "job" here will be to coordinate events. Having the "moderator" title merely gives me other viewing options that I will require in order to do things properly. However, I know Eos will expect me to also use some common sense here and if I see inappropriate things I should also handle them properly. The fact that underneath my username it states "moderator" doesn't mean I'll start getting click happy with my new found powers lol.

There's a little bit of a difference, though I do understand where you're coming from. Updating those threads really becomes a hassle after a while and there's no good feeling for doing it, no one thanks you and there's limited interest.

Being the event planner/host with real prizes is something people will appreciate and take part in. It's invigorating, fun and sort of propels itself.

Pretty sure you saying that won't change a thing, dual. The thread's been made, the persons qualifications are being put into question by using past examples as evidence, those remarks are removed and more negative comments ensue.
Sure having negative words here isn't fun, but then again having negative actions resulting from censorship isn't much better. but, eos' site, his rules, right?

Edit: Oh my, it would seem that many touchy posts were made since 3:56 when I first started typing up this post. I still feel that Rick doesn't deserve the hate and that he should be allowed to express his views on all of this regardless of how "angsty" or clueless you think he might be.

Oh, and Talia, I'm not sure if Eos had already told you but new moderators are required to participate in this thread. :3

Rick is being a pissy little school girl and hasn't demonstrated a lick of maturity since his little harry-whipping incident where he stepped down. Now he's trying to throw up sour grapes over absolutely trivial crap as if she had the fate of the whole damn world hanging in the balance and went on vacation.

His posts were deleted because they have no legitimate bearing on this. They're not even remotely similar, and it's just Rick throwing another hissy fit trying to tear someone else down over his own sour grapes.
