Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. Less drama this way, and she seems like a fairly cool person anyway. Not like this is the first forum I've been to where an admin hand picks someone they know but the rest of the forum doesn't. In fact, it happens quite often.

I was not even aware that this person was a user at Southperry until now, but that's fine. After reading her first post in this thread I'm already confident that she's more qualified for the job than any of the "regulars" that would have been interested in this position. Is she an actual moderator now, as well? If so, I'm not really sure how I feel about that just yet. It would be nice to have a female perspective around here. Mira doesn't really count because she infracts maybe once a year.

Give me a chance Rick. Eos knows me well and knows that if nothing else in the world, I'm honest and fair. Your skepticism is understandable. Just give it some time. Believe me when I say that I have debates with Eos just like the rest of you, except we do it in private lol. That's why I'm impartial, he knows I'll tell him how I honestly feel or what I honestly think about any given situation.

Just want to clear the air on one thing here. For the most part, my only "job" here will be to coordinate events. Having the "moderator" title merely gives me other viewing options that I will require in order to do things properly. However, I know Eos will expect me to also use some common sense here and if I see inappropriate things I should also handle them properly. The fact that underneath my username it states "moderator" doesn't mean I'll start getting click happy with my new found powers lol.
