Yes, GMS has a 10x base exp killswitch. If you pass 10x exp it nulls all gained exp. This has been bypassed by bonus exp additions, though. The few hours of 8x we can get here and there are pretty game breaking themselves, so anyone arguing that 3 weeks of 20x ISN'T game breaking is out of their mind. Just because you don't feel like it's bad doesn't mean it's not. Lots of people out there would argue that being able to leech from 20 to 100 in a day isn't game breaking either. Doesn't make them right.

I think the first ranked KoC took 16 hours to get to 120.

It's an opinion, you can't change that. So it's not about me not feeling that it's bad, that is my opinion, i would never want to grind on 21.6x exp myself because it removes any reward from leveling, but i do in NO way find it game-breaking.
There is no right or wrong opinion, so no i don't have to be out of my mind. And honestly it's narrow-minded to not accept that people can have different views on something.

I'd say EMS is a mess too, but for a diff reason: lol horrible Nexon Europe support and lol hackers trampling everything.

As someone has stated earlier, you can say that these high rate mini-duns even things out.

Personally, 20x really is game-breaking. Although it was temporary, it still is far too much EXP because 3 weeks with those rates is more than enough time to get someone to the level they want with little to no effort. Kudos to you for not wanting to follow that route, though, Unleashing.

EMS has some great updates but some things are just rather... unfair to me. Extremely high EXP rates (though temporary) without a cap and Miracle scrolls... really? x_x

As for the 10x EXP killswitch, I believe it's actually lower than that. When we could have 8x EXP, HS ruined it, though not for all monsters. It worked in a weird way, but let's just say going past 8x ruins the EXP.

Okay, listen, i didn't ONCE in this topic say that other people's opinion didnt count, i told them to not state their opinions as though they were facts. In case you didnt know there's something called being objective and subjetive, learning about that would get you far.
I understand that potential and enhancement system in GMS isn't broken, it's completely normal to walk around with 3k main stat, that's totally not something that used to be private server only.
If potential is broken is also about opinion, you could say it's needed in order to beat future bosses but you could also say it breaks the game when a NL hits damage cap repeatingly.

EMS doesnt even have the overall 25% exp reduction on the exp needed per level <_< we're still stuck with horri-bad grindspots, besides the ones in leafre, and the miracle scrolls were for less than a week and are gone and are extremely rare.
GMS had 50% scrolls en masse which allows you to do more or less the same with the conjuction of pam's song.

I love EMS as a server, i am having a ton of fun and if i wanted i could go ranting about how i think GMS sucks, even though i don't really think so.
Temporarily making leveling a joke does not ruin a server, it just takes the achievement of leveling out.

That you feel a need to insult me, is your choice, but EMS is far from broken, i play it and this is my opinion.
We don't even have 100 level 200s yet.

Well we can all agree that potential, no BB is broken. But potential was first meant to be released with BB. But BB took them longer than they though.

The ridiculous exp rates in EMS are just to make up for how shitty their rate of content updates is.

Curiosity.....out of those claiming eMS is rubbish, how many have actually played it? I played gms and found it rubbish, and never regreted moving to eMS, so therefore gMS is rubbish?

The smart ones do not attack the server it self, because that is just pointless. GMS got just as much craptastic pomegranate as EMS do. The ones claiming the 20x EXP rates and premium mini dungeons that spit out levle 163 e-staves, HT/PB books and crap is just either oblivous or just do not want their edge to go away. People haiting on EMS looks sillyand lame, but people defending hax exp rates are even worse. Having an ultimate spammer in EMS must grant even less respect than it does in GMS, and boy it aint spiffy here either, and has not been for a long arse while.

I dont really care about the exp rates, I for one rarely benefit from them. Though I do agree on the part of people afraid of losing their edge. This reminded me of when NLC was introduced into some other version and many gMS were raging over it
