Two statues of intrigue in new banners.

Just wondering. Are these Boss Hunter statues present in any other version of MS? Mainly JMS since they're the only one that made a change to Crimsonwood and its PQ. I don't think I've seen them before today.

If not, then it's finally more Masteria teasers ever since that blue/yellow monster that was never identified. How much longer can Nexon drag this out?

That IS a mage and a warrior wearing full Bosshunter armor indeed. Monocle Masteria may have some future after all. Perhaps these statues would have done something if you were wearing a full set too or given Bosshunter weapon schematics and the like.

I kinda hope not, then we would all have to get boss hunter sets lol
Anyways, glad to see I wasn't the only to notice that they were wearing boss hunter armour on the site.

Maybe the statues would give you parts to make Bosshunter armors for boss items? Then when you have a full set they do something else in addition to that.
#5
I was thinking they'd just be NPCs that tell a small story. Like the Grandmaster statues.

I'm gonna guess and say that those are in their data, maybe theyw ere supposed to be implemented, and now they are using them for the new site?

inb4 combattante enters thread with massive nerd-gasm.

This certainly raises some eyebrows. nice catch OP.
#9
Should move this too the Disscussion forum for more talk and views.
#10
I think they are just left over images from the abandoned Masteria project.
#11
Honestly noone should get their hopes up with these pictures. It could just be a remnant of the Masteria Project like what that strange blue/yellow alien seemed to be.

Well you never know. Maybe NEXON WAS waiting for Big Bang before they even thought about Masteria. Maybe that little Alien wasn't even part of Masteria.

It might not be an alien but it certianly has the feel of one. It doesnt resemble any monster thats been alluded to in Masteria outside of aliens perhaps. "A threat from the stars" Icebyrd Slimm talking about Masteria's future. I wish i had a screenshot of what all he said...
#16
Well of course they're going to be done in the style of Masteria - all Maple art is theoretically in the same style. I think that they just wanted some "foreboding statues to signify the great champions held on the ranks."
#17
Their armor looks identical to that of the Bosshunter armor though so saying its a coincidence that they look that way is a bit of a stretch. Whether it means any sort of Masteria Project revivial is anyone's guess.
#18
Another event to make us *fk i thought its masteria again*.
#19
Somehow I was thinking the first statue was a Battle Mage...
#20
Probably "Attack of the Statues" Event with limited time suits that are impossible to make permanent cause you need 5000 statue pieces.
