New servers with big bang?

I was just over on lolbasil(you know for the lols) and I saw a thread saying that we are gonna get not 1. Not 2. But 3 new servers when big bang hits. All I thought was "No way maybe 1 but all the newer servers are underpopulated as it is". I know that we got those bandannas but those could just be in there for later. Is there anymore concrete proof?

KMS got 3 new servers with Big Bang, the idiots assume GMS will also get 3 new servers even though we don't even have 1/3 of the servers KMS does to begin with.

Nexon must get a lot of money every time they create a new server, othewise I can't see why they would want to open new ones.
Merge the last 3 servers, block character creation in Scania, Bera, Broa and Windia for accounts created after the 7th of this month and then open just one new server. If after 6 months this is proven to bring a bit more life to the less populated servers, then open another one, but unless they do something I find this idea of a new server plain useless.

The assumption that more than 1 server will be released with Big Bang wasn't just guesswork, comparing GMS to KMS. It was based on the fact that the Tespia data shows that 5 servers (El Nido, Nova, Arcania, Aster and Zenith) have quests that begin on December 7th. That quest where you need to get to level 70 before the end of December to get that epic hat. I'm pretty sure they'll change that though (number of servers).

I could see them opening one new server for people interested in starting over because Big Bang is drastically different from the old Maple. It's completely possible to get one, although highly unlikely to get three.

But it kind of is private server...it's not that much different with BB really... no leech and buffs are 1.5x now. 3 servers would be doomed with like like 50 active players left after 2x event. Yellonde fm has like 4-6 people in entrance and its relatively old.

I think it would only make sense for them to add a new server, I mean the biggest event in Maplestory history really and you expect them not to? Hahaha..
But I do agree 3 servers is a bit much.. & at the people who whine about even getting one more server saying we already have enough.. really? -.- I hope they realise there will be alot more active players after Big Bang then before.. enough to fill up a new server. They under-estimate how much people are really getting brought back to Maple from BB.

Considering their two biggest cash cows (exp cards and cubes) get bought to the absolute extreme during a servers birth, i'd say yeah they probably will release new servers. Not that i think they should, but it makes terribly good business sense.

I don't know about you, but being a Yellondean, I actually enjoy the peace and quiet of a small server. I chose it for a reason, and merging 3 servers would just create another over-populated server conglomerate that some people in this game intentionally avoid.

Seems very likely they'll release a new server.

This shapes the entire games foundation and many people would be looking for a way to start over. Start a new world, make new friends, explore the changes together. It makes much more of an impact if you it fresh, not as a old character. Ontop of that 3 new classes. We all know the damage hoes will want to be in their main servers. But what a bout those who don't give a crap? Want to really start fresh and new. It would be a good idea especially since it's the holidays.
