In all honesty, when I first heard it, I would not have thought "sleepywood music". I had to listen to it again to <kinda> hear it... Thing with music is that there is so much variation possible that it could've just been a coincidental thing. Then again, music at its roots (chord progressions) commonly use the same things so it wouldnt be surprising if they were built on the same basic foundations, hence why they kinda sound alike.

Or it could be written by the same composer.
Composers often 'recycle' certain passages in their music.

thank you for taking time to review it. i know if i could find the full song theres a part in it where it breaks down for about 10 seconds to the sleepywood sounding thing. its just amazing to me, the same magical sounding keyboard or w/e it is. ahhh i love this game.

I know there's some sushi bar using the ellinia music for their website. But I don't remember which. I think it was something with blue.

i remember hearing florina beach music on CCTV-4 *chinese international channel* then i thought... must be so popular in china... that "Adventure Island" game *what CMS is called over there*

i don't have my earphones today so i can't listen to that... but there are some tunes who come repeatedly over and over on all sorts of music...
best example would be pachelbel's canon... that tune's EVERYWHERE!

Hmm, I tried it too, but it seems like they either removed it or have some bugs with the flash file.

Edit: And yeah, the thing has the sw-music in it.

It does sound like they sampled and looped the main 2 bars in the sleepywood song. Here is a break down:

- The arppegio (that synth guitar sound) is sped up, but it seems to be playing the same arp and chord progression although obviously since it is sped up the key has changed. Also delay has been added significantly.

- The Chords (the keyboard rhodes piano sound) are the same (of course sped up)

- The bass is completely different, but the original bass in the sample is still there, just eq'ed out a little.

- The song uses similar percussion

Sounds great!

Lol. I think I know what commercial you're talking about. I was just randomly watching it, and it came on. xD I was just like 'wtp?'

Oh, and I didn't hear the similarities. Prolly because I'm impatient and just couldn't pay attention to the song for very long.
