You have no excuse to not participate. A microphone can be purchased for ten dollars at your local Best Buy.

Except for the fact that the grand prize is worth less than I would spend on a mic. If someone buys a mic just for this they should at least get a little return on their money.

I would hope that people are participating to have fun with their fellow Southperrians rather than to win some silly karma to have SUPER COOL NAME COLORS, etc. If you want to get technical, there are headset mics that go for $6 all the all the way down to $2 used on Amazon. I bought mine about a year ago for $8 off of Amazon and it works perfectly.
