Used to, but I stopped because my laptop sucks and can't handle recording anything. >_>

I mostly use XFire to broadcast games (though, XFire requires game support, so not all games can be used for this) and other times I use LiveStream.
I don't really do it often, though... I used to do it a lot when I was super active on my Viper.

My computer sucks and couldn't handle it. I do love watching live streams and shout casting.

I might be doing it soon, no idea. Heard something about Comcast not distinguishing between upload and download bandwith...

What are the most popular sites for broadcasting gameplay? LiveStream?
I'd like to watch some and possibly try myself.

I used to, on Livestream, stream myself playing random SNES games (as you could recall).
I want to do the same with console games but I need the stuff to be able to do so. D:

Having a direct comparison of Livestream and own3d.tv between two teams on LoL playing the same game at the same time, own3d.tv seems to be much better. I've seen Livestream lag up to 13 seconds from the actual events.

I've always had the best experience watching UStream over LiveStream, own3d, JustinTV, etc.

Never streamed, but I did do random gameplays from Frapsing random Maple / WoW stuff that was interesting to see. Nothing major though...
Also I always watch JTV, but randomly will check Livestream / UStream for certain broadcasts.

Well, out of the main broadcast sites that I know of, Ustream and JTV have the most prominent gaming communities, with some big shots in each place. Machinima has a channel in Ustream, while Destructoid has a channel in JTV. I have experience streaming in both (as well as Livestream), so no problems there. That, and I can help with anyone who's interested in desktop broadcasting.
Console broadcasting... you'll need a capture card. Which I don't have / inexperienced with. xd
Yeah... might as well tell my idea. xd I'm thinking of a live Southperry channel. You know... a live gaming channel for Southperry by Southperry users. For that to be possible, the channel needs at least a few people willing to broadcast there at least weekly. I'd be one of those people of course, but doing this alone wouldn't work.
From the looks of these responses though, this probably isn't such a good idea.
