Big bang 3rd of december? Does this screenshot seem legit?

This seems fake to me. The event description for this event is almost the same as the "Maple World Remembered..." event going on right now. Especially the line "Before we turn the page, let's celebrate the Story!" being exactly the same on this screenshot and on the current, real event. To me, it doesn't make any sense for a post-BB event to say "Before we turn the page"

Also, it says "The Big Bang has change everything" instead of "changed everything". I've never seen Nexon so lax about describing an event that they blatantly copied the description from a previous event and changed only a few words around, not even bothering to make it make complete sense.
EDIT: Especially an event that involves real world prizes.

So what's stopping you from editing the webpage with those buttons in it and a new paragraph?

The button .png sources were directly in the .css file, but there is no reference to any URL from those buttons to the inactive pages.

Most likely, those new pages already excist, but are put in a hidden directory, or the pages are simply renamed.

The only way to find those direct URL's is brute forcing nexon's webserver with sequential URL seeking, which is a bad idea in general, since that would finish years after big bang itself started... :+)

I think he's showing us he edited the page itself... "Client sided".

While it would be rather nice, I'm going to say it's edited. It's not very hard to whip something like this up with about 10 minutes of free time. They most likely found the .png images and thought "I can spoof something with this" so had fun.

Though, I will say that their guess is rather nice. The current event ends on the 30th, doesn't it? And the Big bang patches were 2 weeks apart in KMS? So that would mean we'd get resistance somewhere mid December and the final BB patch somewhere in the last week of December, which is a rather nice time frame to end everything, if you ask me. By the time the New Year comes, we'd already be done with the Big Bang patches and thus "entering the new era of Maplestory" entirely with the start of the New Year.

I dunno, if were running things at Nexon, I'd think that'd be a very nice way to end the year, and it fits in perfectly with the context of the patches. But that's just me, I doubt Nexon thought like this at all.

So Turkey Event will end 30th, BB comes on 3rd and that ring event starts on 7th and ends on 23rd.

3rd doesn't fit the schedule in my opinion, but due to those images found from Nexon servers, I can't say that it wouldn't be possible to leak those dates out.

Wednesday does make a very nice day for it. 1st of December, I already explained why this is a nice date in my previous post; but I don't see it happening really.

I think you're misunderstanding Tikey's point.

They're not patching on a Friday.

They have been known to patch on a Thursday night before.

OT: I don't believe it. The only thing that would make me believe this if they released the patch notes tonight. Wonder why so many events end tonight>.>

It would actually be much wiser of them to patch a week before an event starts, that way they'd have the majority of the major bugs worked out by then so it wouldn't become a hindrance to completing the event. Of course this is nexon so they'll probably be patching the day of the event
