Stirgeman Pants Upgrading Methods.

Does anyone know how exactly you upgrade stirgeman pants? I tried searching for isaac's guide but I couldn't find it anymore .

1. you talk to stirgeman, he asks for a set amount of etcs that are readily available in the haunted house
2. you hunt glutton ghouls for the etcs.
3. you turn the etcs in to stirgeman and hope for the best.

Talk to Stirgeman in NLC. He will tell you to gather a few etc from the haunted house, wad of gum, screws and so on. When brought to him along with the pants you get a chance to upgrade them, downgrade them, blow them up or leave them unaffected.

Unfortunately, the chance to upgrade them is miniscule compared to the chance for it to downgrade/stay the same/boom.

Is this like nependeath honey drop rate or can it be done in 30 mins on 2xdrop?

items need to upgrade pants:
8 stretchy thing (doll/ghoul drops)
8 gum (ghoul drops)
15 springs (jack in a box drops)
20 screws (jack in a box drops...very very rare, buy or do quests for it lol)

it hard to upgrade lol i tried 6 times with a pant ended up with same pants at the end...

I upgraded my cape twice long ago. I think it took me a couple of hours to collect the items - it's kind of a pain, but they do drop.

I had good luck with the cape. First upgrade was a Mk-whateverthecrap, second was a Cloak of Darkness!
