Comparison for Magicians ' MP (Pre Big Bang and Post Big Bang)
#1
I had thought for days , whether both mages will have a different MP or not

I dug out my old ScreenShots for both of my Clerics ' photos during 2nd job advancement
One is Pure int (Pre-BB)
Equipments :
Beginner Explorer (+50MP,50HP)
Delphinus Bandana (all stat +3)
Squashy shoes (+1 INT)
Yellow Work glove (+1 int)
Bathrobe (Def scrolled , +30HP)
Earring (Clean 1)
HP : 527
MP : 1883

Another is Normal mage (Post-bb)
Equipments :
Beginner Explorer Medal (HP&MP +50)
Masked Gentleman 's hat (all stat +4)
All others are just clean Magician Eqs and a clean earring
Noted : It might be blur for the image , u can just magnify it .
HP : 469
MP : 2271

Just now i went for my Old old old Flame Wizard (Which has been SP-reset but i never spend it)
Before adding the new MP increase
[Image: Comparison3.jpg]
Note : Maple Hat +12MP , Medal +100MP , the Flame Wiz is normal mage
After adding them

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
And I dug out my Old ss for my cleric Lv36 (Normal )
Note :Masked Gentleman 's hat+4INT, Medal+100MP , others are clean.

I had been very confused....
So the question is...
If now , I have a magician in MapleSEA and leveled it (A normal mage) , after big bang , i added Improving Mp increase
Will i have the same (Or very close) / exact MP that a mage which is created and leveled after big bang?
Means A Mage achieved Lv70 before big bang
B mage achieved Lv70 (or Created) after big bang
will both have the same MP?
P/S Same HP too ?:nosebleed:
Thank you.....for viewing this thread
and hope to hear your answers soon.
P/P/S I know i might find a basic idea for looking at the SS but I am really confused. I need someone to enlighten me :phew:

P/P/P/S Btw Can someone tell me what will be the differences from the 2 mages?

MP gain is primarily based on the amount of INT you have. Every 10 INT = 1 extra MP when you level up. I have 15,744 MP at level 154; I guarantee you can dig up some screenshots of poor mages pre-Potential with less than 13k MP at my level. Big Bang only makes a minor difference on level up MP and boosts both pre and post-BB mages' MP by 20%.

No, the mage that has the highest total int when they level up will have the highest MP.

so.....
Even I level a normal mage in MapleSEA now , after big bang , If i create another mage and add exactly same skill , same time , same AP build , their MP will be almost the same?

Yeah. The equips are more important than build/whatnot unless you're throwing points into STR or something.

Alright , I think it's pointless to wait for big bang with my Lv8 Mage, I think i will level it now xD

P.S.
Do luck affect MP?
(Get slapped)
what a stupid question

So my Mage after big bang has higher MP because the 4 INT Masked Gentleman 's hat helped him ?

No, if you applied the 20% extra MP from MP Boost to the old mage, you would have 2259 MP at level 30. It has 20 more theoretical MP because it levelled up with more INT and your gear on your post-BB mage doesn't add enough int to make up for the luk you added.
