So PG works accurately for all bosses then? Pre BB the damage reduced is cut in half from what its supposed to reduce when you fight bosses compared to regular mobs. For the 1 damage thing, I thought it was a graphical glitch, or do they really only take 1 damage?

Pre-BB...it's not that PG wasn't working "accurately." I believe it's intended that active defensive skills (Invincible, PG, etc) be only half as effective against bosses. :f6:

Like on my drk on GMST, my FA shows up with damage only and no animation.

In gms, lep still stun but without the animation iirc or was it with the shouting/flamethrower or whatever it was.

So you actually see your character making another slash preventing you from moving? If so, you must have a client that is moonlighting as a time machine. Pre BB that is what happens when it activates, post BB you will see a hit without a detectable root. I tested this on Tespia to make sure. I had a monster moving towards me and I used powerstrike just before it got within range, and even though I totally missed and started to run away (and did not attack again) the monster got hit after a sec. Had this been the old FA, the character had been forced into a second slash animation after the first preventing me from backing away but now it does not steal time, borking DPS. I guess they should name it Ghost Attack or something instead.

No, the character doesn't make another slash.
However, there is a visible flash off my sword, like in that video snippet above, and a noticeable delay in when the monster dies (when it's a mob I normally 1-hit, and FA fires, the monster makes its "ouch" sound effect twice before dying). Not much of a delay in when I can move again, since like I said there is no extra swing, but seems to me there is some.

Also, I've killed mobs with "MISS" - I think that's a damage display glitch, not FA firing invisibly, because no damage is shown besides the MISS. FA is supposed to show a damage number, just no attack animation, right?

Yes of course, I did not realise that was ever up for debate. I thought that fell under common sense, I must have missed something in this disscusion then.

What I ment was that the first hit did not even miss, it never hit the monster at all, while the FA did hit because the monster had moved up the last inch to be in range, and numbers showed up.

All in all, FA has gone from a worthless piece of crap skill that actually ruined your DPS if you used attacks that triggered it, to become free damage without any loss to you what so ever. Like Stereo pointed out, your character and the animations tied to is totally unaffected when FA triggers.

In the video he use an attack and the normal animation triggers. Fa triggers after to be sure, but it is not comming from the weapon per se, the character remain in the stance position. He could just as well have started the next attack, though I'm not familiar with the delay between attacks for Paladins.

Idk if the PG dmg reflect is graphical glitch or not, but it always reflect 1damage (blue) on my screen. On another ppl's screen, the PG dmg reflect dont show at all

Guess it's same like Pre BB, only reduce 25% damage received from bosses compare with 50% damage reduce from regular mobs. Anyway, Threaten is so great now, reduce dmg received and increase your dmg Biggrin

Thanks for the reply Locked, although I respectfully disagree with Shadowerer's being "good" already. Especially since Dual Blades have come out. If any class has been deserving of a boost, its shads and paladins. The only reason I ask is because I am thinking of making a shadower post big bang, but wanted some input first.

Well DBConfused are above all of the classes (at least before BB) when it comes to buffs, mobility and solo bossing.

It's pretty much "confirmed" that it's coming no later than the 7th (for GMS)...you know, unless something REALLY goes wrong and they have to delay the patch, which IIRC, has never happened/doesn't happen often.
