Anyone crashing more after the windows 7 fix patch?

Well I've noticed that I only have issues in world tour areas. Especially singapore/malaysia. I get the BGM being stuck issue, no graphical issues thus for though or any actual crashes...

Today I was fighting Krexel, and even if it lasted quite a while (1 hour+), it eventually gave me the graphical issues and crashed while I was fighting.

Okay, so after playing a bit more, I got a few graphical errors with storage and stuff, but still no actual crashes. Also, started a blaze wizard, and was doing one of the storyline quests when....



I can't pick the pineappleing thing up. Can't complete the quest now nor can I continue in the storyline. God damn it. >:|

I tried restarting the client, changing channels, moving my inventory slots around, everything. I can pick EVERYTHING else up just fine. Just not the damn doll. So I highly doubt I seriously need to reinstall my client like it says I should.

Whoa thats f**ked up,
I installed windows XP and windows 7 in the same PC for Pink bean Zak and HT runs, i guess i'll be using XP during Bigbang lol ..
i just hope they fix this because they made the crashes even worse...and i hate using XP :/

That happens occasionally to people on 7 and XP. You have to reinstall. It isn't a new bug.

I was never really affected by the crashes tbh.

Ive only dced once since people started saying it was a regular occurance to d/c on vista/7. I cant say much for the fixing since i have only logged in for about 10 minutes after the fix patch. (to which i soon logged out after someone smegaed there is a gachapon exploit)

Mice crashes when I got OUT of it.

I havent been able to go in for two days, and I hope it fixes itself by tomorrow or no black friday sales for me

Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit here.

Before: I didn't crash anywhere except for right by the Cygnus lv 120 hall of fame. Though i have not tried any multiform bosses to know whats up with them.

After: Pretty much the same actually. However, i was hit by a problem i never had before: I got disconnected by the fail auto DC GMPolice (for the DERP HACK reason, it claims) after getting weird lag spikes on channel 1, it didn't happen until i joined a party though. Other than that, nothing new.

It could be the combination of graphics card + OS that causes more problems than others too: I have Win 7 Home 64 Bit + an ATI Radeon Graphics card and so far that combination hasn't had any problems with MS aside from the 2 i just mentioned.

Anyone with an ATI brand card having worse problems?

I'm likely in the minority here, but I had occasional random D/C's in maps I haven't visited for awhile and AFK D/C's in the FM before the "fix" on an W7 laptop. They are still there, but usually not debilitating other than when I need to make some mesos. I had no problems on an XP computer.

Following the update, I'm getting all sorts of crash-inducing graphical glitches on the XP. For example, bodies will disappear and all you see are faces running around the FM, the background for inside Ludi clocktower is gone, the chat box will white out with nothing but a white box, lag has increased significantly and once in awhile the whole screen will scramble, looks hackeresque, perhaps something like the matrix.

I'm having music carry over where it shouldn't be NPC windows are all borked, and random D/Cs of course, worse then it was before, great job Nexon.

I also get the problem you described about FM when I have my permit up for over an hour or more and I'm using XP. Although, I was already getting that problem before v.92.

I got a good laugh out of an earlier topic with people singing praise to nexon before the Win7 patch and how great things were going to be now, and as expected they find out the hard way that nexon actually screws up much more of their content than they tried to fix in the first place.

okay, i just had my first graphical freak out ever.

Random things kept dissapearing then i crashed.

I hereby declare this patch a FAIL.

I have a really weird issue that I got after the patch.. I can't seem to use the skill Flying assaulter on my dual blade. I can use ALL my skills except for it. =/

But yeah lol, if you read my posts in the SC thread I complained like hell. W7 is crashing more randomly, even though (beside Dojo) I seem to do better at bosses.

My maplestory seems to be doing very well than what it was before this patch. As I've read through the posts here, they are receiving what I used to get before the patch(Background, foreground, skill animations, monster/boss animations disappearing/appearing as glitched boxes.) and now I do not have those problems. I'm using Windows 7 64 Bit if that matters.

Only problem now with Maple is the auto-close of the application which doesn't open Etracer or that message telling me I need to close...just poof gone instantly. Makes relaunching easier though.

I have yet to see any improvements. I'm so disappointed.

Just a bit ago I came out of the cash shop and I had what looked to be the new Big Bank overlay for hp, mp, and the like. It was only a partial overlay and the game was frozen and crashed out. Interesting to see a BB element on my screen though.
