North-Korea has attacked South-Korea
Jamie_Kurosawa Wrote:Shame we don't have one of those indestructible super sized domes made of a clear polycarbonate nano-tube resin that we could just lift and drop on top of the country sealing them off from the outside world forever.

That's an incredibly ignorant statement to make, and it doesn't sound like sarcasm. There are plenty of good people in North Korea, and many of them are smart enough not to fall for the state propaganda. You don't think they protest? You don't think they die for trying to fight for better living conditions? Do you believe they like the fact that their government does stupid sh!t that results in more sanctions and at the end of the day, they (the people) are the ones who pay the price? They are hungry and due to North Korea's terrible economic policy, they function on meager jobs. Of 190+ countries, North Korea is at rank 154 in terms of GDP (purchasing power parity). That means the average citizen only makes 1,900 dollars a year. Make them even more insular against their will? That's plain sick.

By that logic, Africa would be sealed off from the rest of the world due to all the guerilla/civil warfare. Not a fan of that kind of thinking by any means.

South Korea clearly have an advantage against the aggressive actions from the North be it financial, alliance, or even the people.
In my opinion the South shouldn't allow such tragedy to continue anymore, the international community should just get rid of North Korea and get them all merged into one.

The timebomb is ticking every now and then.

look at the state of china and russia now. china only fought along side NK because the UN was posing threat to China.

Yea, the rolls for China are reversed now. If they jumped in against a US invasion of North Korea, their economy would implode when ties with the US are severed.

But that still does not mean invading a country which has convinced its people that the US is a power hungry imperialistic empire of oppression is a good idea.

North Korea claims South Korea started it. Wow. How clever.

Pretty sure everyone already knows that the North can't be trusted.

A part of an article from Finnish news site, translated to English:

MTV3 Wrote:In Korean War, there would be inscrutable amount of civilian victims in just few hours.

South-Korea didn't answer to the yesterdays strike using their military. According to Juha-Antero Puistola this is cause full-scale attacks would be considered as declaration of war to the North, which South-Korea can't afford.

- North-Korea has announced, that it could turn Seoul into sea of flames, if full-scale war would begin. And this is not questioned. North-Korea has their weapons aimed the way, that thousands and thousands of shots could be shot straight to South-Korea. And therefore casualties to South would be a catastrophe and many civilians would be killed.

And that is why Puistola believes, that South-Korea will try to prevent full-scale war as long as they can.

So the moment US and SK will invade North-Korea, Seoul will already be destroyed.

Sometimes Ray even the most ethical means to save a people ends up destroying them anyway. IMO sealing away North Korea and letting them vanish is a much more humane way to free them rather than attempting to invade and conquer which would destroy millions in the South as well as the North, last for years, and possibly be no better than anything else that could be conceived.

You have to think of this from a perspective relative to the situation. Can the North Korean people be saved? Maybe. Can we save them all? No. Could the South take down the communist regime and restore it to a Federal Republic like the South? No. Why? Because those in power in the North will do anything including of turning the entire Korean peninsula into a nuclear wasteland to prevent that from happening.

They didn't tell that the south started it to the other countries. Their news announced that South attacked North. That's nothing but their little propaganda move.

expected/10, since it's communistic news we are talking about.

Channel News Asia was showing this short North Korean clip of some ugly lady speaking to the masses. From her tone, she was obviously trying to brainwash the citizens.

...and yes, I find this farce of theirs extremely annoying. Someone just drop an atomic bomb in pyongyang already. I'm sick and tired of all this Communist bulls***. Hell, North Korea isn't even being properly Communist ffs. They're just bloody totalitarian.
