I agree. Gen 30 and Maple Hero 20 from Gach are not as nasty as having to HT for them, even if the only effect is to deflate their costs in the economy.

I saw about 15 TT 20s in the FM before the Patch. That isnt really a book that needs to be there.

lol...YEAH right, it'll most likely gach from respective gach machines (warrior - perion, etc). but who in their right mind would gach from their town gach (except maple henesy), the rewards are absurdly whack.

also now with zipangu sucking gluteal... not much hope for the hopeful honestly.

personally, this is great news for many many books, which i wonder if this is what NXProse was hinting about in his chronicales thread about "alternative/easier means to getting skills" however i'd be VERY upset if they start gaching the lvl 3 horntail-exclusive books. we rely on those to be able to fund runs and reward the run team. seriously, how pissed would you be if you had to run 15 runs til a genesis 3 book dropped for you but mister lvl 60 cleric can gacha one with that week's allowance?

That may be true, however considering the fact that not everyone has 1billion mesos to throw into a level 30 skill book that only has a 50% chance in working or horntail connections to get into a run, it's not exactly fair on their part either, anyway I doubt they'd make the level 30 skill books drop so frequently from gacha anyway, so there more then likely will only be little deflation on them.

Wow, it is a mark of what a sellout Nexon has become that I'm not even surprised.

But hey, it may actually be a good thing if they deflate, so yeah.

I think mastery books are supposed to be somewhat rare, though, at least some of them... Otherwise, what's the challenge? I don't think Gacha will make all of them massively common, though... I mean, it's still Gacha.

I dont think the HT books should be gachable as as someone above stated, its not fair to those who spent countless mesos to buy/earn their books on runs. However, it'd be nice if some of the other books (being completely biased, SE 20 xD) did come from gach as its really a pain in the ass to hunt sharks for a month for it and still not find it >_>

On another note, does anyone know if this gach update only put TT 20 into gach, or are other books gachable too now?

You need to actually look up the word "sellout" before using it. They didn't sell out to anyone.

Lol, so they only put TT 20 into Gachaphon.. that's a bit awkward unless they're adding more. Now, TT 20's will be like 1m tops. -cough-

i agree wtith u 100%, the whole purpose was to earn your way and to HT was a big achivement, to gain skills, u feel happy earning it yourself. I too would be VERY upset if HT exclusive books can be found from gacha...i only just hope they think about this more.

Some ppl dont have money to buy da skills, then god dam earn for it, do it like every1 else, instead of doing it the easier way, whats the challenge in the game left for u if u can get all lvl 30 books in a lame gach

Yeah, I don't see how this is a bad thing. A new source of rare items is always good, even if it's gach. I really hope SE20 is in one of them. X_X

Ignorant people like you make me sick. q-pineappleing-q, some of us can't afford to pay your outrageous prices for books that will fail half the time, and in the same regard, some of us are literally incapable of HTing. Aww, you don't make as much money from HTing if skillbook prices drop, my heart pineappleing breaks for you, really.

heh. we all saw this coming before 4th job when people predicted that 4th job would require nx to advance.

this isnt necessarily bad since getting crapping skills books like monster magnet is still better than get lol elixirs. the only way this would greatly effect the game is if 1) rare books like se20, stance20, or 2) books that are hard to get like mw20, berserk30, tt30 come out of gash.

the "downside" is that the game is getting more and more nx based. though you cant really call it a downside since nexon needs to be nx based since as a company, they need to think of new ways to get more money from their customers.

The only way that it'd be "more NX-based" is if Nexon made the skillbooks come exclusively from gach, but that isn't going to happen so the point is moot. Other than that, when you gach and get something worth 600 mil, it doesn't matter if that something is a skillbook or an equip; either way it's going to be another item introduced to the economy, and either way it's going to be something that someone can buy and use; whether it's something that the person uses and can blow up or fail miserably, or it's something that can just fail period.

This has no real down-sides, infact, it probably has more up-sides than people have thought about, such as maybe people wanting to gach for skillbooks will blow more money on it and introduce more scrolls into the economy, causing a (much-needed) deflation.

Dragon weapons have been gachable for a while now, but I don't think it's influenced their prices whatsoever; do you?
