Maximum AP (questions)
#1
1)Just been wondering what's the maximum AP we could stack up?
2) I heard it's up to 255? Anyone who can confirm this?
3) And what will happen if we have around 255 AP (unallocated) and if I leveled up once more. Do I lose 5 AP?

Not sure if this has been asked before but cant find any thread regarding to my questions. Thanks in advance

The maximum amount of unallocated AP is 255. If you level up with 255 unallocated AP, you lose 5 AP.

Why would Nexon put a cap of 255 on unallocated AP? ._.

Because they put it in a byte?

In private servers, you could put up to 32676 in one stat. I am pretty sure that carried over to unallocated points. Since that was a client-instilled limit, it should carry over to Nexon's game.

Why do you care? Why does anyone care? No one should ever have anywhere near that much unallocated stat.

How hard is it to spend your AP? What the hell are you saving it up for? 200 AP is 40 levels. You can spare 2 minutes to spend those. The game even tells you to spend them. If you lose AP because you didn't spend them, it's your own fault.

He's doing it cause he always changes characters, and this keeps him on his aran till he's done washing it atleast.
He's going for a lot of HP.
People are different, i guess.Biggrin

You get the pop-up message at 200 AP, and you should be getting it every time you get more points over 200, if I recall correctly.

Save tons of AP.
Borrow SUPER DUPER INT gear
Dump everything into MP
Return ints
AP reset out of MP into HP
AP reset out of MP into main when done
Super high HP on ranged chars!

For those with the funds to do that and want to save the hassle of borrowing/buying a great INT set multiple times.

I forgot is this called MP or double wash? Those terms always get me confused.

That's double washing, regular MP washing would be just putting points into HP, then resetting to primary stat. If you go MP->HP->stat, double wash (since it uses 2 AP resets per point of HP gained). The advantage is that if you use int gear, you don't end up losing MP when you do it (with enough int gear you can gain MP), so you can do more of them without hitting the lower MP limit.

It's basically only really useful on classes that don't get an HP increase skill, cause when you reset from MP->HP you don't get the HP bonus.

I save my AP up until I can get the AP resets to HP wash out some of the points. Few months ago I had 60 unused AP until the "Free AP/SP Reset" package came in. Now I'm sitting at 22 unused AP waiting for Black Friday.
I'm always cautious at just throwing them all into HP and then later finding out I hit Min MP and can't wash out the remaining AP, because I'm very quick to forget about them.

That's pointless for you to do since you're a paladin, I don't see why you need the extra HP for.

Why not? HP cap post-BB is 99,999. We're not Tankadins yet, so we still take a hefty amount of damage from everything until then.

And this is why we can't have nice things.

Honestly, thats kind of pointless for anyone to do, Bosses in Zipangu are no longer dangerous, same goes for Masteria and Neo City. Currently the only thing that could be dangerous would be Chaos HT and Pinky Bean, but I cannot say for sure since I lack reliable info about their damage post BB. Wash for them if you like, but the general trend is that we get better protection as well as new skills to deal with high damage. People with 30k base HP cannot feel anything but screwed over.
