#1
I'm trying to make this ridiculously large J-Rock playlist, so far I have Dir en Grey and D'espairs Ray down, so what else should I listen to/add to my playlist?

You cal also try GO!GO!7188, same vocalist.

You can also go with some Jam Project, they're pretty cool.

Not really "j-rock" in the usual sense (X Japan, L'arc en ciel, miyavi, etc) but the following falls under the rock genre:

If you like j-rock with a heavy pop influence, Ayumi Hamasaki might be relevant to your interests. She lives and breathes pop, rock and ballads and blending the three.

While YUI is pretty known for FullMetal Alchemist Brotherhood's Again, most of her jrock is soft rock like these:

Like YUI, Nana Kitade is also famous for an FMA song, Kesenai Tsumi, many of her songs is actually less pop-py and more of a dark mood. These two represent her pretty well. Although her saucey voice is still the same.

Girls Dead Monster - although Angel Beats! ended, LiSA is still releasing album under the name Girls Dead Monsters. Their latest album was "Keep the Beats!" and they're due for another album in December.

Some other decent anime OP j-rock
HIGH and MIGHT COLOR - Ichirin no Hana
Riyu Kosaka - Danzai no Hana Guilty Sky
YUI - Rolling Star

There's also doujin/touhou music that does jrock (these are mixed with pop though):
Silver Forest - Keep the Faith
SOUND HOLIC - Perfect Cherry Blossom

J-rock? F`uck yeahs. This is my kinda list. Probably gonna go with mostly Visual K here.

 シド (SID)

 Janne Da Arc

 Alice Nine

Posted 2 vids for each. They're my favorite songs from each. I'll probably post more if I have time later on.. Uh, I started out listening to SID, then stretched out from there and went for older VK bands, since SID is a bit more mainstream Visual Kei. Alice Nine was something recently introduced to me, and I love this band to death. Janne Da Arc was my 2nd Visual Kei band I listened to, and most of their songs are pretty good. If you look up translations for most of their songs, the lyrics flows really well.

Also, haven't listened to X Japan yet, myself. But they're a great Visual Kei band, from what I've heard by a friend.

List of VK bands: List

Going to assume you named yourself "Ghost" because of the band? Maybe?
