I was craving some eggnog last week. Thanks for the reminder, OP. I'm going to get some eggnog later today.

I've never had eggnog. Maybe I'll buy some and try it.

I always wanted to try Egg Nog when I was younger. After watching "Christmas Vacation" when I was only 8 years old, I asked myself "What is this Egg Nog?". I wanted to try it. So when was older, and finally got the chance to try Egg Nog, I thought it was awkward. Tasted like sweetened milk with some stuff in it to me. <_<;; I wouldn't mind mixing it with an alcoholic beverage, but I wouldn't drink that sh`it by itself. Tastes like sugar.

Oh, that's what in it? I figured there were eggs, sugar, spices, and maybe milk or some sort of creamer. Never thought it'd be Heavy Cream. :x Really thought there'd be more put into it though, lol. The sugar = what bugs me. All of the Egg Nog I've tried is too sweet. I'm thinking about making my own Egg Nog at home soon though, around Thanksgiving. Maybe bringing it over to the relatives on Thanksgiving, hmm.

6 eggs
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 cups milk
2 cups heavy whipping cream
3/4 cup Wild Turkey bourbon

Found a recipe only, but edited it a bit. Gonna experiment this sh`it out.

I don't like store bought eggnog, it is way too sweet and thick. If I ever drink it, I mix it with milk.

When I was little y mom used to always make homemade eggnog, which was really damn good. When I got older I realized I was drinking raw eggs and I stopped drinking it.

I bought some yesterday and every time I go to get some Jello or juice I stare at it. I am afraid to drink it.
