Star Wars

I was talking about this with my brother and we had opposing views on which order one should watch the Star Wars series. He said to start with The Phantom Menace as it's the first in the storyline, although I said to start with A New Hope as it was the first to be released.

In what order would you prefer to watch the series?

Sart with 4 and end with 6

I've never been a fan of 1-3

I watched 4, 5, and 6 when I was 5ish? I remember watching it for the first time. That was long before 1, 2 and 3 were released.

4-5-6-1-2-3 if you really need to finish it.

1-2-3 was really sh`itty and overdone.

Episode 4-6 are better for showing people Star Wars the first time. If you showed the 1-3 first, they'd probably either a) Think that was the better trilogy which is awful and wrong. or b) Hit you for not showing the original awesomeness to them first. If choice a occurs, you must stop being friends with them immediately . . . or just never watch a movie with them again. Whatever works for you.

456-123 makes more sense since this way the reveal of who really is Darth Vader is more impacting (I should really watch the originals, I have seen like numbers 6, 2 and 3 I think...)

I watch them from 1-6, but that's mostly because I'm OCD about reading fiction in timeline order.

But that's not the timeline order >_>;

think about it being 456 (123) and 123 (456)

4, 5, 6. If you need to know the story of 1-3 just get the summary off of IMBD they arnt worth watching. Also, try to watch them in the original form not the remade CGI one ;[

Sometimes, imo, prequels are just something people come up with at the last minute to try to make things "make more sense", it never works, and even makes things more confusing. Especially if it's overdone.

I mean in the timeline of Star Wars. Darth Vader was Anakin Skywalker before he became Darth Vader, so episodes 1-3 are first.

There's chronological timeline (4-5-6-1-2-3) and canonical timeline (1-2-3-4-5-6). I choose chronological.

I watched it in order 1-4-5-6-2-3. I would suggest, 1-2-3-4-5-6 duh.

Episode III is best, shut up you all Sad

Lol no.

Watch 4-5-6 first. Darth Vader is made of awesome win.
 Spoiler
Not to mention 1-2-3 have Jar Jar Binks, one of the worst characters ever to enter the silver screen.

And i'd go with 4-5-6 for first time introductions. If y'all already seen it, i'd go 123 456.

lol no, people should not watch them in the order1-2-3 first. People shouldn't even watch them starting with 4-5-6. Here is the best order if you are going to watch them all

4-5-1-2-3-6

Now you might be thinking... wtp? But its simple start with 4, bc its the beginning. Then 5 bc its 4's squeal. Then at the end of 5 Dearth Vader's all like "Luke I am you father". So now we go back in time to see how he got to be pearth vader therefore 1-2-3. Then we finish it off with 6.

You could do 1-2-3-4-5-6 in order to go from the from the worse to the best.
