My god, Nexon.

One day I pondered into the NX section of the website and I was presented with an error. I submitted a ticket:

Category: Tech Support

Summary: Free NX Offer Page
Details: When I click on the Free NX button to lead to the offers, I am prompted with an Error and am unable to proceed to the offers. Is there any way around this?

I am sorry to hear you have had trouble while trying to purchase NX. We have implemented a verification system due to continued fraudulent charges. The error you received was because your transaction failed the verification process of this system.

I think this is strange. I wasn't involved in any fraudulent activities/charges recently. Heck, I barely charge NX. But today I felt like purchasing some, and I can no longer use Paypal, Direct CreditCard transaction, or NX surveys. No stores near me stock NX cards. So my only other option is PayByCash and I have no idea how to use this.

So am I just screwed?

How can they notice that? I'm sure tons of people lie on the surverys so they don't get bugged by all the incoming spam e-mail, or simply for the sake of avoiding giving out their real information.

No. That is not the case. I'm assuming he has never done any surveys. Certain locations including pretty much whole Europe are blocked from both Surveys and PayPal.

Nexon, being as bastards as they are, blocked us from PayPal in 2008 if I remember correctly (and free nx when it came out). The only fix is to use proxy so they won't know you are connecting outside US.

PayPal aint blocked in Europe. I use it now and then to charge and I know a german, a dutch and a guy in Norway doing the same . The only close thing I ever heard was that they disabled Israel (and countries in that area?) from using it. Surveys are just America only, simple as that.

I got blocked from buying NX via PayPal as well. It happened to me right after I submitted a ticket reporting that I had been hacked. I don't know if that's related or just a coincidence though.
