What's the best server in your opinion?

I'm from Broa.. and it's lost its sparkle. Lol

When I play all I see are hackers and pimentos, and a whole lot of inactive guilds/players. When BB hits GMS I'm hoping Nexon releases a new world with it, where me and my few good friends from broa will start anew. If there isn't a new server released.. I was wondering which server we should move to?

I'm sure every server is different than the rest so I'll give a description of what I'm looking for in a server.

I'd like to play a server that has a fairly medium-high population with awesome active guilds that actually do boss runs (I swear Broa has like 3 bossing guilds). Obviously there's gonna be hacking wherever you go but somewhere with a little less of it would be nice. As for pricing on things.. inflation hits everyone and I'm not big on merching so that doesn't matter all that much. I like having a full BL with lots of nice people and it's becoming hard to come across that in my server.

So that's what me and my friends are looking for in the most part. Feedback would be greatly appreciated. (And if this is better off in Q&A let me know and i'll ask for it to be moved)

Well, Scania might (yes, might) be able to fit some of what you are looking for, it has too much people (Depends how you like it, + or -), too many guilds bossing (so much that we all get in each other's way/crash or hack each other + or -), too much hacking (-), too much inflation (Neutral for you), and very high possibilities for full buddy list since there is much people on always (+).

Windia has a a good amount of players, and I barely see hackers. People are quite friendly here as well.

You know everyone is going to say their server so whats the point? Also most will judge off who did what first and has the strongest maple char of ALL TIME!

Scania, Bera, and Windia have high populations, which you might not enjoy.
Kradia, Yellonde, and Demethos are kind of desolate.
Galicia's economy is going to take a while.

I'd say Khaini, with Bellocan as Plan B.

As much as I would like to say Scania since it's my home server, I would say that Windia is the best bet. I've heard too many good things from there.

Well, you stated you wanted a medium-high server. But for the benefit of probably most other people who are considering play on a new server come BB, I'll bite anyway.

I'm sure everyone is going to be biased though about their own servers, so I'll try and give an honest opinion. I personally play on Yellonde, the least populated server. It definitely has its pros and cons:

Pros:
- Boss camping tends to be easier (Translate: bosses that spawn tend to be easier to find).
- Less people = less of the type of people you don't want to see (KS'ers, hackers, etc etc.). On a sidenote: I rarely have ever encountered either hackers or KS'ers on this server. I'm speaking from experience though, others might tell you otherwise, so don't take my word for it.
- Quieter, that's for sure. Not as many annoying smegas.
- Tighter-knit community. Most higher levels know each other; are good acquaintances.

Cons:
- Less people = well, less of the type of people you would want to see.
- Quieter (I personally consider that a pro, but it can go either way. Con if you like the hustle and bustle of busier servers).
- Again, tighter-knit community. So if you are a moron, basically everyone knows about it.
- Finding a good PQ group, let alone finding a PQ group at all for some of the more obscure ones (Balrog), is dicey.
- You are basically at the mercy of a small group of people (merchants basically) who control the economy.

I also used to play on Khaini, but I stopped. Too noisy for me. I've also heard it's started its descent on a downward spiral recently anyway.

Edit: Removed the boss runs being hard to find bullet under cons. We have several guilds that regularly go on boss runs. Not as many as higher-populated servers, however.

Lol I'm not bothered with who has the strongest char or beat a certain boss first, competition isnt my favorite thing. (Though Windia killing PB was a great accomplishment) I just like bossing in general as I havn't had much of the chance to do so in Broa because the few guilds that do boss go with their certain list of people and for an outsider.. there's no getting on that list. Windia does have a certain pull to it though I've heard a lot of good things but I'd like more input before just spinning the globe and going where my finger lands.

Windia gets at elast 2 boss runs every day (2 HT, 2 Zak, etc) It usually gets a lot more though, yes, there will be a high population, but it's not high enough to take every single training spot during 2x.

Mardia is the best server for me. Medium population, fair share of douches and nice people, easy to find maps yet you still need to compete occasionally. Best mapling experience for those that want the best of both worlds.

I love Broa and its desolated ways, tbqh. But from what I have gathered, Windia might be the place you're looking for, since it has a medium-high population rate (I believe it has surpassed Broa, but don't quote me on that) and it's pretty active/friendly, at least people from there make it look that way.

Broans, on the other hand... we were always the pessimist kind, or so it seems. I've seen very few broans actually recommend our own server for migrations (I'm guilty of that as well), but we somehow manage to keep coming back to it. Nostalgia, maybe?

Avoid Bellocan if you hate cheap prices in the FM, mostly free popular training spots except during 2x events and a mostly quiet and calm server with no real problems.
