Problem with fraps and maple

So I recently decided to use fraps just in case I wanted to record anything worth recording on maple (i.e. Levels, scrolling, boss runs, etc).

I use parallels on mac to play maple (my desktop is waayy too laggy) and maple always works fine. When I installed fraps and started it up, I can see the fps in the corner fine and maple doesn't lag, but when I start recording maple crashes on me.

Help?

I don't really use FRAPS anymore. Xfire has video capturing build-in now, and it uses a lot less CPU-% then FRAPS does when recording...

Maybe you should try Xfire for recording too... Hope it works!
