I still listen to a lot of what I listened to in high school, as embarrassing as it is to admit, because most of it is NOT good music. I am willing to admit that.

Elliott Smith and Explosions in the Sky are probably the most talented artists in my library.

Rap and alternative rock. Inb4 hate.

I'm in a bit of a point of change of tastes. I still like progressive metal like Blind Guardian, J-Rock like Gackt, The Gazzette and dir en grey, anime music.

Right now I'm starting to listen to some "normal" rock or pop-rock.

60~80 rock, dunno if it qualifies for Classic Rock. Not too heavy like Fiel's taste, nor too soft like his chinchilla's fur. Ranging from Scorpions to Deep Purple in the order of ascending "heaviness", I suppose.
I'm not too particularly crazy about any band (maybe Scorpions and Dire Straits) but this genre is what brings out the most emotions in me.

What the hell Cultural is supposed to stand for?

Like Latin, African, Afro-Cuban, Indian, Arabian, etc. Anything with distinct melodic and/or rhythmic patterns found in certain cultures.

The only genre I can say I like as a whole is classical. I like some songs here and there from various other genres, but classical is really the majority of what I listen to. That and video game music, if we're considering that to be a genre. Starting on a classical instrument (cello) at the age of ~6 and having two music majors for parents miiiiiiiight've been a contributing factor. >_>
