"Owl Sticker Cash Shop Prizes Bugged
Details: At first I thought it was the lag spikes that occur every 15 seconds(this needs to be fixed as well) but I tested it and used the owl sticker after the lag spike had passed.
I sometimes lose an Owl Sticker and get nothing at all from it....also what is strange is that when I do get a CS prize I get the same CS prize over and over. So far I am up to 26 VIP Tele rocks and I havent got one meso sack, safelt charm or anything else.
I am sure I should have received more CS items but I havent, for all I know I should have won the Laptop.'

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing difficulties with running MapleStory. Here are a few suggestions that might resolve your issue. If these tips don't help you please submit more information about your system and character and server he/she is on, and any error messages you got.
1) Close any extra applications before starting the game as they may interfere with our game clients. If you do not feel comfortable turning off your firewall or antivirus, we suggest configuring them appropriately to allow the game client to run.
2) Run a Virus/Spyware scan on your system to make sure that it is clean. Malicious programs can interfere with the game and compromise the security of your account.
3) Please make sure that you have DirectX 9.0c or better and that your video card drivers are up to date. More information about direct can be found in our "Game Download" section at Nexon.net/
For nVidia video card drivers: http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp
4) Please make sure that Windows is configured to allow the execution of the game client. To verify this, click on your Start menu, Control Panel, Performance and Maintenance (if applicable) and then double click on System. Select the Advanced tab and click settings in the performance section. Once there, select the Data Execution Prevention tab and make sure that the game client is added if the second option is selected. Also make sure to click Apply and Ok if you make any changes.
5) If all of the above solutions do not resolve the issue, I suggest that you re-download the game client and then reinstall it. For best results, I recommend that you delete the folder the game is in and any other related files or icons before you reinstall the game. You can download the game client from our "Game Download" Section at http://www.nexon.net/
For MapleStory you might also try:
A) If you have problems with the patcher, we suggest downloading our manual patcher from our "Game Download" section at http://maplestory.nexon.net/
B) If all you see is a black screen or you get disconnected every time you enter the game, browse to your MapleStory folder and run the "Setup.exe". You will be prompted with a question. Click NO and the setup will run through various frequencies and attempt to find one that works for your monitor. When you see the MapleStory image during the test, press ALT-H to notify the setup that you are able to see it. Outdated video drivers can also cause this; refer to #3.
C) If you have Windows Vista / Windows 7, right click on your MapleStory icon (not the desktop shortcut) and select properties. Once in the properties, click on the compatibility tab, check the box that says "Run this program in compatibility mode for:", select Windows XP (Service Pack 2) from the drop down menu and click Apply. For best results, make sure to log on your computer as an administrator. While this solution will help MapleStory function under Windows Vista/ Windows 7, please remember that it is still not fully compatible.
I hope this information helps in resolving your issue.
Sincerely,
GM Causk

And another ticket I made on a different account 7/25/2010
Cash Shop: Maple Life
"Recently you said in a notice that "Both Maple Life Type A and Maple Life Type B are not working." and that there would be a notice saying when we could use them. I have a Maple Life Type A that expires on the 30th of July. I dont want it to expire before I can use it. Can I use it yet?"

Unfortunately, we will not be able to assist you with this issue. The ticket system is in place to assist with technical, billing, and account related issues. Questions about gameplay, quest, controls, etc. should be asked through social chat channels or researched in online game guides.
We thank you for your understanding. Have a great day!

Okay I need to stop doing this.
Which categories did you file the tickets under? It seems fairly reasonable that they refuse to answer gameplay questions, seeing how we've all agreed that they know jackshit in that regard.
As I recall both were under Cash Shop since that is what both bugs/glitches are about. The Owl Stickers gave out bugged CS related Prizes and the problems with the Maple Life A is a CS related issue too. I never saw a resolution Notice posted about the Maple Life Issue. I assume it is fixed?
I seriously wonder if GM's have any English comprehension or even reading skills at all.

Both replies seem to be completely automated, based on keywords in your tickets.
The first must have been triggered by reference to "lag spike".
The second is less clear, but I suspect the "I dont want it to expire before I can use it" semantics made their machine think (haha) you're asking for advice on when to use an AP reset or a Vega scroll or something of the sort.
At any rate, you're right that there are no English reading skills involved.
Cryptic error message we used to get in GMS when the game would crash, was meant to say something like "Gameguard is already running." The absurd "pear Mapler" thing you posted reminded me of some of those early Engrish snippets we used to get.
Rimmog isn't that bad...just shift your right hand to the right once and misspell running
I remember I sent in a ticket back when there were a bunch of server crashes at night about losing NX and trying to get it back. They waited until 90 days passed and then sent me a response saying they couldn't find any record of it, because the NX transaction log goes back 90 days (to users at least).
remember those mass hackings that happened, like, january/february 2010? nope, they still haven't done anything about that one. they just keep sending me periodical automated tickets telling me... they haven't forgotten.
