Sorry for the delay. I have a life too, you know! Anyway, after tallying all the votes, there was a tie between engaging in armed conflict with the aliens and fortifying the city. There will now be a public vote in this thread on whether you all choose to attack or defend. The vote will take place over the course of three hours.
