You realize how many BRS PVC figures that exists.. right? Also:
-Tried eBay, with my zip code, the cheapest one I found was about 110+33 USD (total). 33 being S&H charges.
-AmiAmi was sold-out, at around 7,450 JPY. That's around 80-85 USD, I think.
-Amazon.com = no-go. Couldn't find any. (originally typed .jp by accident, but not like you'd be able to do business on there anyways)
I'll try to regularly check figure.fm to see if people are selling any in the Classifieds section, but even then, the chances are that they're either overpriced or they're used.

lol, have fun with that. It's out of stock everywhere, bro. Who knows if it'll ever restock. You have to look on auction sites, pretty much. when you find it, it'll be like 2 times the original price, or a bootleg.

Wanted to ask, which method of shipping do you guys use when ordering from Japanese sites?
-EMS
-Registered SAL
-Unregistered SAL
I've been using nothing else but unregistered SAL, and all of my packages have been fine so far. I might do an EMS for my upcoming figure that's worth about 80 USD though. :| Don't feel like having it being reported as "lost" and then losing the money I made on my purchase, etc
PS: For Zelkova: http://www.figure.fm/post/en/19028/B+RS+...efect.html

Good news is, now you'll stay away from that particular BRS (I would hope so!). You could always go for a figma, or a Nendoroid. Those are a lot cheaper. If you're going for PVCs, the details are going to be massive, that and it's usually 1/6 - 1/8, so it'll be expensive anyways. :/ If you need any further assistance, lemme know. But if you're still going for this particular figure, it's not gonna go well.

There was a quality issue with it anyway; they, uh, somehow forgot to put the star on her jacket...
Also, BRS: I have the Figma and Nendo, as well as Dead Master's Figma... but only the BRS Nendo is out right now. I've been waiting to fix the di tage I broke so I can make a little battle scene before I put BRS and DM up, but I haven't gotten around to buying the plastic glue I need... >.>

Wasn't this a GK a while back? Guess they're mass-producing it.
Beginning of Dec 2010 = release date, huh? Wow... x_o That price, ugh. :|

...huh. They just did another "so limited you'll never see it" re-release of some GL revoltechs. Super Galaxy and Arc, in this case.
...so no TTGL, still. I will get you someday! (But how will I afford you? Or buy you, even, since the only reason I caught the Eva/Yotsuba re-release was Tomopop reporting on it...)
And Khoi, I'm guessing this is a DO WANT for you.

Question aimed at Khoi and Spidey, since you fellows have a good idea of a few characters, games, or series I'm interested in and what to look out for when I'm looking for a figure: recommend me a figure about $50 USD or under, preferably from a US-based store. I'm looking for something with a lot of personality (funny is a plus) and nothing too "kawaii". Posable or non-posable doesn't matter.
Not really bad news, but something you guys also might want to know. Shipments sent from an unmarked or anonymous package from Japan to the US and its territories that are larger than 453 grams (which is about 1 pound) will be halted starting November 17. Fortunately enough, all major sellers for merchandise are in contract with Japan Post according to response from AmiAmi to an email inquiry about this. So to speak, sites like AmiAmi aren't affected, which is fortunate for us. Won't affect us for the most part at all, but still, something you should know.

Omega/Omnimon, DO WANT. Wargreymon, eh. I love Wargreymon to death, but if I really had to pick, it'd be Omegamon for sure. The model kit is only around 35 USD (or less) on AmiAmi for Omegamon, thinking of getting it some time in the future, but I think it was sold out atm anyways. /sadface

I could have looked at anything, but kinda shuddered when I noticed "US based store". All of my stuff are either from Japan, or from people from the US that bought figures from Japan and selling them of figure.fm or whatever. You're not allowed to shop online, right? Hmm. I'll post more when I can think of something, as for now, no idea.

Would Amazon or something suffice? Because I don't trust eBay as much. But yeah, I'll look into this a bit. Probably gonna look for TTGL figures for ya then.

Yes, Amazon is cool with me. In fact, Amazon is one of my best options, since I've got access to free shipping there.
And right, no auction sites.

I bought this last time from this seller, came in mint-condition, etc etc etc. Not sure if you've seen Eva, but:
Here
Dunno if that's the kinda stuff you like though, if you want a picture of it, I can always try taking a picture of the one I have in my room.
