Also, I think you missed this guy's post. HoN is the "pretty, updated graphics" version of DotA in nearly all respects, and it costs $30 up front, while LoL is the "free" take on the same concept, with almost entirely new original stuff. In terms of MOBAs, you could think of Counterstrike and Unreal Tournament as FPS MOBAs, as they really aren't truly MMOs in the sense MapleStory is.

Actually i wrote in my original post that MOBA is a multiplayer online battle arena, and since you after that added LoL from another guy as an RTS i corrected my own to add them both as RTS.
MOBA is something i didnt hear of till Riot (Devs at LoL) used it. But i guess RTS/MOBA is the most fitting category.
And sorry that i didnt reply, i guess i didnt see your reply, thought i skimmed the thread trough, my bad. x.x

Man there are a ton of games that should be added, but I'll start with a few:

God of War - Action/Adventure - Playstation 2
God of War 2 - Action/Adventure - Playstation 2
God of War 3 - Action/Adventure - Playstation 3

The God of War series has got to be one of the best game trilogies of all time, IMO. The story, the settings, and the characters are excellent. You gotta love hack'n'slashing through armies of enemies, gutting centaurs and fighting in some of the most amazing looking and interactive boss fights you'll ever see.

Dead Space - Horror/Sci-Fi - Playstation 3

I have no idea how Dead Space isn't on this list yet, while Resident Evil 4 and such sit up there. Dead Space brings back the horror genre for gaming. The story draws you in from the start. It's incredibly atmospheric, with the flickering lights, all the space stuff, metal sounds--you're always feeling extremely paranoid, no matter where you go. It is a must buy if you enjoy horror games, and even if you don't, buy it anyways, because it's one of the best games the PS3 has to offer.

No one knows about this game even though it's the best 3rd person shooter as of recent releases ;-;
