Hey guys, I have a WA129 Reverse Engau (10 DEX, 1 STR). That's 3x30%, 3 slots left with 1 slot failed. It has no special abilities.
As an end-game weapon, should I continue scrolling it? I can use Pam's Song from the latest MSEA patch to reverse the failed slot, and finish it to become WA159 (16 dex, 1 STR). I'll be spending a lot of Miracle scrolls. There's the new Night Raven Bow, which when acquired through gachapon, comes at maxed level, WA115 (8 DEX, 4 STR). I'm tempted to get that but it means rescrolling. Also, all the new equipment have special abilities like additional critical rates and what not, I'm not sure if I should invest in a Reverse as my end-game weapon now.
The wording of Pam's Song implies it's simply a White Scroll, so it wouldn't bring back an item slot.
And if you're feeling lucky, you can just use a Potential Scroll or an Advanced Potential Scroll to give your weapon those "special properties" like additional weapon attack, critical rates and boss damage. If you mean adding points to your skills, you shouldn't worry about that too much.
Hi guys. I'm looking to upgrade in preperation for Big Bang.
I'm in Windia, level 86, have 75 mil (I can probably push myself to 80-85 mil by selling a 3rd Visitor Dagger), and the following equips:
Bow: Maple Kandiva (91 ATK, 0 slots) - probably the one that needs to be upgraded the most
Glove: 6 ATK Work Glove
Helm: Ravana Helm (+18 to all, clean)
Cape: Maple Cape (3 DEX, 5 Jump, 5 Speed, and 3 slots)
Shoes: Level 80 shoes (7 DEX, clean)
Overall: Level 80 overall (3 STR, 18 DEX and 0 slots)
Earrings: Level 55 earrings (+2% HP and +3 DEX, clean)
Belt: White Belt (+1 to all, clean)
Yeah, you guys can tell that I really need to upgrade. I can probably hunt for a DEX cape and a good potentialed Level 90 earring at Gobies. Other than that, I'm not sure what I can do with just 75 mil, what with potential pricing being all over the place and all. I did see a Level 75 Cape with 3% DEX/4 DEX/4 DEX in the FM for 42 mil earlier, but I had a feeling that it was a ripoff price, plus the plans to hunt for my own cape.
I also have a Vicious Hammer set to expire by the end of November (didn't log in for three weeks), along with a Potential scroll that I just found. I'm not sure what equips to use them on. I was considering Makering a Level 90 glove, using my Potential Scroll on it, then scrolling/hammering it if the potential scroll works, although some of you guys might have better ideas.

3. Hunt for Rex Earrings and potential them hoping them for 3-lines
4. Collect 3-4 rings if you haven't for the nice HP boost and stats, since they're so easy to make it doesn't require maximum funding and it's nice to have.

1: 94 (or was it 92?) STR, 70 base.
2: Only the earrings are potentialed.
3: Yeah, sounds like a good idea. I've been trying to do that. I'm not too keen on risking blowing one up though, I care more about the +10% HP boost than whatever stats come out of the potential scroll.
4: I already did. Crit ring + 3 Zombie Army rings.

I'm not funded, as i have like 20mill as of now, but i do however, have like 50K NX to spend on MTS-stuff.
So i was wondering - to max leveling speed (and do more damage, you know, all that good stuff?) what should i blow it on, as i level?
I'm willing to wait a few levels in order to get an equip i could have for a longer lasting period. For instance, i'd rather get another glove that's better then a 10ATK WG at 50, rather than the WG at level 10. No rush there, so to speak. But being a newb i cant hold out for too long.
And please, feel free to tutor me and point out all my misstakes - although i'm a noob, i pick most things up pretty fast! :>

Right now I currently have a 3 line clean Green Pria (6 DEX with 4 all stat potential, not that the potential matters), so with that in mind, my options are...
1. Get a 3 line Chaos Zakum Helmet
2. Scroll (with 60/100%s) and cube the Pria
3. Keep my current overall and cube it (it's 2 lines, so...)
4. Attempt to make a 3 line Arcina, get it to 14 ATT again and cube that
5. Cube my boots
6. Cube my bow to 30% Boss damage (obviously not gonna get that in 9 cubes)
7. Other???

I kind of want to potential it, but I heard that after chaos there's going to be a cash shop item that will prevent items from booming with potential/enhancement scrolls.

Skills I'm considering buying: MMB 20, Pierce 20. I have the 30 books for both of those already.
Mesos to spend: 250m in pure meso right now. I could probably get another 250m within the week.
Keep in mind I'm playing on Zenith, so our prices are.... never stable. Everyday, it seems like prices are going up by 10%.
Anyway, I'm tempted to buy a Gen 2 lvl 17 ring because they're about 200m right now.
So, I'll have 47 Str altogether soon because I'm waiting on the 14-day medal. I'm able to borrow +10 Str cape and shoes, but I also have 2% Str earrings on a mule in case I need a bit more Str.

I'd upgrade your cape and get MMB20. You have 200ish mil, I think the ring is also a good idea. The ring being the item that's most likely to inflate over time, so i'd get that first. Then MMB20, then a cape with some dex, maybe like a 2 atk 4 dex pac.

Hi again, sorry for the double post. With Chaos right around the corner, I'm just wondering what I should get in order to increase my Str to equip a Neschere. I have 4 base Str and 65 Str altogether. Alliance has said that when I'm 160+, they wouldn't mind taking me on an HT run....

Well, definitely get an htp. Just because your guild will take you on an ht run doesn't mean you can have the htp. After chaos, the htp is likely the only worthwhile item that ht will drop, so it will likely not just be given away.
If you can afford it, a czhelm would help a little bit as well. Scrolling a junk cape for str wouldn't cost all that much and you could probably get 6 str out of that.

Yeah, that's pretty much how it works. Ranged is dps. Melee is crash and rush (when applicable).
