Well it'll either be an expansion or a separate game. If it's a separate game, it would be interesting if they allowed character transfers from Maple Story 1 to Maple Story 2. But I'm thinking it would be a 3d maplestory, somewhat looking like Dragons Nest.

There isnt much to talk about this when we have no info at all about it other than its on development.

From what I heard, MapleStory 2 is actually another game based on the same concept of MapleStory. However, it's set to follow a different storyline and world than the current Maple World.

Punch Monster is a totally different game that has some MapleStory elements to it, but as far as it coming to North America, no clue as to when.

There are LOTS of game that were looking like a maplestory 2. Punchmonster, kavatina story, ever planet, wonderking, etc. are some of them. People can say all they want, for me maplestory 2 is big bang. I don't know if a real maplestory 2 is coming out but i could care less. Nothing's like the good ol' maple

I don't get why people always are like "why would they make a new ms after having spend so much on it", there are mmos with sequels and prequels (lineage, lineage II and soon lineage III) and yet the original game has still enough players.

Think about it, why would current maplers quit just because there is a new 3D game? Theres one like every month, even nexon has its owns, if you ask me it could be to attract new people and even some maplers would find it enjoyable due to most likely set in the same universe as the original maple, but the only thing nexon needs to do to keep the original maplestory alive is just not neglecting it.

Although that PunchMonster game looks like a ripoff, it looks nice.
Also, a proof it`s a ripoff not only in graphics? Pay attention to the song for the Mine at 2:00, and open up the second half of Dead Mine song. It`s EXACLTY equal. Lol

I`m not much interested on MapleStory 2, but i see nothing wrong with it at all. It`s not the first game to gain a sequel game.

Anyways I'm expecting to see MS2 (or w/e they meant) in 2-3+ years...kinda like Cody's Theme Park.
