As most of you should know, ever since .59, there has been a glitch regarding the mini-boss, Bigfoot. It is able to be misted and have shadow web put on it. Nexon has done several things in an attempt to rid the glitch, such as nerfing the exp and banning fast levelers (mind you, majority of it was false bans). Well, that really didn't help. People are still abusing the glitch and sliding by with it, and I myself have seen one huge impact: Drop in prices on deputy stars. For the first week that CWK was out, the stars were over 250m in price. They have gone down with a steady decrease to a mere 50m in Khaini. I fear this could be a problem with people planning on selling theirs as a last resort for money.
In conclusion: Due to the bigfoot glitch, having a deputy star is no longer a special feeling anymore, as the prices are rapidly dropping.

Nah its just because its the way things are.
Spigelman neckalces used to cost over 50 mil for a clean one, and now they are 1 mil .
Same with new event items, they are alwasy the most expensive on day one andd steadily lose value over duration of the event.
Its the way all things are.

They will skyrocket as the people selling them will want them again(unless they have HT necklases)I

I think that if NEXON will make the BigFoot immune to poison and to shadow web (and all the other skills that work on it, but shouldn't) the prices will become high again, because it will be very hard to find a BigFoot's Toe for the quest (it doesn't even drop 100%).
So yeah, we'll just have to wait the next patch. That bug can't be resolved like that. It needs a patch. Maybe they will also change the exp back to what it used to be before the nerf.. but maybe I'm being too positive.

Comb, I think they will set an experience that is reasonable to killing it. For the time being, they may just work on making it be a "boss status" monster. Once that's done, then they would work with the experience.
Of course, they may just leave it as is. Would suck though. XD

I think they would have done better to temporarily remove it from the game rather than nerf its exp and allow people to continue misting it. Poor handling of the situation, in general.

Nerfing the exp was the only thing they can do to handle the situation without needing a whole patch as far as I know. But if they do a patch just for bigfoot, people would crap on them for "not giving them new content even though there was patch" and "it's their fault for screwing up bigfoot in the first place".
And I don't see why it's so bad to have the star drop in value. It's a very good item for everyone. Assuming it still costs 250mil, would you buy one? (assuming you can NEVER kill bigfoot for the quest due to people keep killing it).
I'm sure you'd like it to drop if you can't buy one, can't find one, and can't get one.

I don't think that deputy stars should be tradeable anyway, so their price is totally irrelevant. >_>

Well, then the level requirement should be buffed to 80 like the quest, it shouldn't be tradeblocked.

Yes, it should be tradeblocked. Quest chains that give a great reward at the end are supposed to be meant to reward a player for going through all the tasks of obtaining the item. Its not supposed to be an opportunity for anyone with money to be able to just buy the item and skip all the hard steps that everyone else had to do. Zhelms aren't tradeable, HT pendants aren't tradeable, and even NLC warrior thrones aren't for the fact that these items are only aquired after performing a required task.

Then again you can't really get another one from the quest. If you sell it, you're basically giving all of your hard work from the quest to someone else.
Edit: And heck, z-helms are kind of tradable...you buy them. So are HT pendants.

Totally agreed.
People that have pendant SHOULD deserve it, and anyway, it should be for level 80s, not 50s. Why in the hell making it for level 50s??

Then again, if the pendant is tradeable and for level 50s, it should be worth 100m. The price shouldn't decrease, because that's a fair price for a pendant of that kind.
It's not so easy to get it, and while only level 80s can get it through the quest, level 50s can benefit of it buying it from the FM.

I agree. 100m is a fair price. For the people that earned it and plan on selling it, hacking it away for 30m is just giving the arrogant even more to brag about.
Also, fixing the BF glitch can make it somewhat more special. It'd be harder to obtain then, possibly pushing up the price again. The people who earned it deserve to at least get something out of it. Or, if you are one of the people that have two chars and got them legitimately, you should be able to sell the second for a logical price of 100m+ for your effort.

Why not sell the first pendant for 100m then, for your effort? You want to sell it, and seeing how it's your effort to obtaining it, why can't you sell "your effort?"

if they fix that glitch without nerfing his touch dmg or HP, I wouldn't like that. That'll just make CWK a ghost town because no one wants to wander around there, you can land on one anytime just passing through.

Nah, this problem people keep foreseeing isn't going to happen. The only way Bigfoots will be left all over is if they fix it and don't return its exp or never give it any good drops. Once they fix Bigfoot's glitched KB animation, I'll be able to solo them like nothing. I'm already good at legitly soloing it, but it takes forever because I have to recast Puppet 457943 times since I can't keep it pinned.
I know myself and many, many other people will keep the Bigfoot population down once it's fixed - so long as there's a reason to kill them (exp or drops) ! Bigfoot is an easy boss already...it will be pathetically easy once it's removed of all its glitches.
And just for kicks, let's pretend Bigfoots never get killed and do take over the Phantom Forest. It's not hard to get around even with them spawned. The past few days I've been running into several Bigfoots while traveling through Twisted Paths (friend doesn't have Phantom Map yet, so yeah). All you have to do to get past them is run into a Jr. Wraith first and then run through Bigfoot while you're still invincible from the hit. It really isn't a problem unless you're insanely unlucky and Bigfoot is sitting right on one of the portals. Lol If you have a Phantom Map, everything I just said is moot, anyways. By using a Phantom Map, you can safely get through the forest without any risk of Bigfoot encounters.
