Gratuitously stolen from another forum...
I'm sure a lot of you are familar with the Telephone game. If not, well. Click the link.
Obviously it's hard to whisper on the internet, so an alternative was made.
The players alternate between (a) drawing comics, (b) writing scripts for the comics.
These are passed along in private, until the final player is reached. At this point, the whole thing is posted and presumably it's entertaining.
The Comics
Take the script given to you by the previous player. Draw it in a series of panels, without including the talking - the previous (and next) script provide those.
The Scripts
Describe what's happening, vaguely. If the characters seem to be talking, write what they are saying.
Communication
When you receive a PM from the previous person on the list, you're free to start. Go wild with your comic/script. Then PM it to the next person on the list, as well as the leader running the game (so I can post them all up at the end).
Guidelines
1. It's going to get posted on Southperry. Don't break the posting rules in your comics & scripts.
2. Don't screw up the order. It's no fun if someone gets missed.
3. Keep the comics/scripts to yourself until the round is over. No spoilers.
4. It doesn't matter how well you can draw or write. Anyone is welcome.
5. Keep it moving. Faster turnover is a plus.
Signups will be on a first come first served basis. For the first round, I'm limiting it to 8 participants so I can get an idea of the time and effort involved, and to gauge interest.
When signups are full, I'll flip a coin to determine whether I send the first person a comic or a script. So every slot has an equal chance of being drawing/writing. This dynamic may change in future rounds if there's equal interest in writing and drawing.

So, an example of comic and accompanying script.
Obviously there's a lot of ambiguity involved so it could go practically anywhere. Which is the point.Signups will be on a first come first served basis. For the first round, I'm limiting it to 8 participants so I can get an idea of the time and effort involved, and to gauge interest.

I wasn't going to try this time, as I like to watch the first time, but as there weren't too many people signing up, I guess I'll give it a go.
