For the ladies:

I started up a chat with a good amiga of mine, and she said, "You don't want to chat with me today."

"Why, what's up?" I asked.

She said, "I'm bitchy today and I'm not going to hear you."

"Alrighty. We'll chat sometime later."

Do most women tell guys this? Would you tell a guy? Do girls tell other girls?

I am a manager at my place of work and I'm not much of a hard-ass, but when I'm feeling particularly bitchy or irritable, I will warn my staff ahead of time to not mess with me. Also, I do warn my boyfriend beforehand on the phone when I'm PMSing (I assume this is what you're referring to) so that in case I say something stupid (which I do 90% of time) he'll at least have a frame of reference so I don't have to apologize so profusely.

Why are female gamers so rare?

Didn't see this question before, and I've been a video game junkie since I was 6... Part of the answer is that the video game industry in general is predominantly male. The CEOs are male, the programmers are male, the animators are male, etc. Just watch the credits of most video games and you'll see very few female names in the credits. Also, girls grow up being encouraged to play with things like dolls (to prepare for motherhood,) easy bake ovens (to get them used to cooking,) and stuffed animals. Little girls are not socially "encouraged" to play video games, whereas the vast majority of video games are specifically targetted at young boys. I mean come on... DOA Xtreme Beach Volleyball? What kind of girl is going to be dawn to play that game?

A recent study (I forgot who did it though, apologies) showed that as much as 32% of online gamers are female though, so the numbers have been increasing. Females tend to be drawn more to RPGs and adventure games though (generally, not all females of course) so those numbers are probably skewed a little on the high side. Finding a female gamer who's into sports games or fighting games is a little more difficult, since those types of games appeal to the competetive side of most males. (Again, not all, but most.)

There has been somewhat of a change in the industry to try to get more girls into video games (Cooking Mama, Barbie video games, those blasted Pets games on the DS.) I don't know how successful it is, or what the numbers are, but I think it's a good start.

Personally, I love video games and I will continue to play them until I am physically unable to (hello carpal tunnel!)

tl;dr: Society pushes females away from a predominantly male-oriented video game industry at a young age, and most females never find a reason to become interested in video games later on.

For the guys: Do males actually fall in love, or do you just chase whatever tail attracts you the most at any given moment? Also...

Are boobs really that important? Honestly.

I get turned on when I see my gf's boobs in a bra, or .. bra through her shirt, etc. I don't view boob-size as of importance though, because I'm not shallow, that and I find overly large boobs disgusting. >_> <3 A - C size is fine! >_>b!

I get annoyed when I ask my gf if I can see her taking a shower through a webcam chat, and she winks at me, smiles, takes off most of her clothes, and turns the webcam away at the opposite direction (so that I can't see her nude), just to taunt me. <_<;

As for the fall-in-love thing, yes.. The girl I am currently in a relationship with is indeed my first and only girlfriend, and I am very much in love with her. Personality-wise and physically ; She isn't "perfect" by any means, but I completely adore her with all of my heart and would do anything for her.

One day, we were sorta drunk on webcam, and she took off her clothes, and she thought her brother wasn't home (and he did left, but he came back way too soon), and he barged in her room at the WRONG moment when she was taking off her shirt. So she shut off her webcam, etc.

So then I cried myself to sleep, thinking that her bf would found out and break up mine and her relationship. <_<; Rather embarrassing.. but nevertheless, things turned out fine. So does that answer your question regarding me being in love with a girl? XD

Why is it that when you tell a girl that you like them, they don't reject you, nor accept you? They instead, play hard to get, and then get the guy wondering for a long time before stating their decision.

What is the point of this?

I'd say it's harder to be a girl. They have periods and from what I've heard, it's very painful. They also get raped more than guys get raped (LOL, have you ever heard of a guy getting raped?) They have to deal with the shytty guys, they are naturally weaker, the list goes on and on.

Girls aren't as perverted as guys, because of testosterone vs. estrogen. I guess testosterone makes guys want sex more often than estrogen makes a girl want it. Also, society... guys were perverted, and when younger guys hang out with older guys, they learn these things. Girls aren't that perverted, and when younger girls hang out with older girls, there's a lower chance they'll learn perverted crap. And girls who hang out out with guys are just viewed as sluts and guys who hang out with girls are viewed as pimps.

That's just how society is so I think that's why.

I lol'd. Girls are definitely as perverted. Or at least one case I know of for sure, girls laugh at perverted jokes in my class though. It's probably more of a social norm thing. Girls don't act "perverted" because if they do act that way, they'll probably be labeled a slut / tramp / whore / whatever or just seen as odd. I think guys are just more open about their perversion, we don't mind doing the dumb stuff like playing the "Penis Game" in the middle of class, or making every statement into an innuendo. [/COLOR]

Have you never spoken to a lesbian? Personally, I seem to meet a lot more homosexuals than heterosexuals who crack perverted jokes more often (that're actually funny). I guess you could say that they're far more daring than us normal ones. But then, some of us, are pretty perverted. lol We just don't show it 'cause...

Personally, i think most girls don't seem that way because we generally produce a whole lot less testosterone AND because it gives others a bad impression or that it's just really unladylike. lol

I'd probably prefer to be 10 lbs overweight, if most of that weight was muscle.

I'm already on the underweight side of the scale (I weigh less than 100 lbs ) and I'm trying to gain weight (I'm taking judo this semester and eating 4-5 times a day, plus walking to and from work.)

It is kinda nice being small sometimes, but my lack of boobage makes it frustrating when I'm looking for bras/dresses/tops that fit well. I would like to have a little bit more of a curvy figure.

I'd say about half/half @ Fiel's question. Half tell, half don't. I like to warn people myself. Most girls will warn other girls, though. I think it's probably because girls know that other girls tend to take things more personally than most guys seem to. Besides, you don't have to spell it out for a girl to know what's up if you're on the rag. xfd Most guys don't catch on too well, lol.

@Russt, girls are pervs, too. The thing is tho, guys are more easily visually stimulated than girls are (girls respond a lot better to touch), which is probably part of why most of us don't think about sex as much. Other than that, it's about repuation, testosterone differences, & some girls just don't know how to tell a good joke.

I think being a girl is harder, but I'm somewhat terrified of ever having to go through labor/give birth, so maybe I'm just biased. xfd

Girls fight a lot with each other in middle / high school these days, yeah. An example would be that news story about the girls in Lakeland, FL who beat up their cheerleader "friend" & posted it on youtube. I think they're meaner to each other than they are to guys, though.
