That was an accidental error on his part xBTAx, he wouldn't have been informed of whom was trying for the kill. He was only informed about Blaine because of Blaine's particular skill.

I actually assumed that you would be the one to kill me anyway (hence me telling Blaine to target you - I hoped for a block or kill. I knew you'd target me asap because you were as good as outed anyway. I had considered targeting you and hoping he got a protect, but it was a gamble that I wasn't willing to make.
