I find it challenging to understand how someone could "not care". My friend responded with that at lunch today as well. Never taking so much as a glance at any snippet of news is the only reason I can think of and it depresses me. I'm not prone to "caring" a ton, but I still bothered to put in a vote for governor and House representative and the two proposals on the Michigan ballot. Hell, I even put 20 minutes of research into it before breakfast.

Even if I weren't liberal (or Canadian) I'd be inclined to vote Democratic solely because the Republican guy running for Nancy's spot is a piece of garbage. The fact that he openly declared his position as UNWILLING TO EVER COMPROMISE is disgusting.
