JMS Big Bang Tespia Open For All (?)
#41
The song is the one who got erased from MS files completely. It's named LowGradeOre (old) and disapeared from MS files completely. The rest are just Edelstein package BGM's.

gMS is easy to make -millions- of meso in. All you have to know is how to take advantage of the events for the most part, making the right investments to make huge profits. Take the stew making part of the Halloween event for example: The stews are fairly easy to make, only requiring 1~2 hours of work for 33 Stews or so. Although a lot of people are stocking up on them, you can still make a large profit by selling them for even as low as 1mil each. My guildmates have been helping each other to make hundreds and sell them for 1mil each and, of course, have made a few hundred million meso.

Sometimes I make terrible investments and lose millions, but I always seem to pick myself up again during events, putting in the work for my money. Chin

I have played gMS since January 2007 so I would say I have quite a bit of experiance.

You can't sell stuff like stews effectively, without having store (atleast at the less populated worlds). You also need pet with item pouch if you don't want to spend ages looting those etcs. Biggest problem however is that even 100million is barely worth anything nowadays. NX funded user can get that profit with few gachapon tickets at Mushroom Shrine.
Also, this is only one event. There's not many events that can get you significant profit.

I agree with this person.

Right now, anything good in GMS is worth around 1 billion with many items reaching prices like 10 billions, and with hackers dropping POT's prices and APQ glitched, there's are only a few ways to get mesos without hacking - using NX. I've made a bit of NX myself using MTS to get a pet with its stuff and a store, so i can make money slowly. However, it is just crazy how easy it is for someOne with NX to make millions of mesos. Like he will be making a billion in a week while i'd take 3 months. I wish there was any fix withing BIg Bang to GMS economy, that would be like the Cherry on top of the cupcake.

Going back on topic. Well JMS is releasing big bang in 3 patches as KMS, so that tell us maybe we get it that way too. I just wonder what the time gap between easch patch will be. Nexon might do it monthly.
Also, the Jap made an awesome trailer for Dragon Nest but were so lady to just add subtitles to their Big Bang Trailer. thats so gey.

I do not fully agree. Events are the big money making factor in GMS. There were two events that could net you upwards in the billions. Last year's witch belt event could net you a ton if you farmed those. Sure, you needed some nx to karma them, but it gives you more back in the longrun. Now, for those who did not want to spend ANY nx, there was an easy way. Farm 50% 2-handed wepon att scrolls and become rich instantly. If you did not farm 50%s that was your own fault. It was the single most easiest way to make money in GMS. Sure, events are tedious, but you have to take advantage and farm on most of them in order to make any good money. You get better rewards if you put forth more effort and are patient. Now, not every event will be that amazing, but most events still allow for a decent amount to be made if you farm something. Also, if you need a store permit, go do some nx surveys. It's pretty easy to get at least 1800 nx from those.

I agree with you completely. All the mesos I've made were from taking advantage of events and new patches. E.g. Buying stonetooth swords during the premium box event, buying and using chaos scrolls during the premium box and selling off the end products for huge sums, farming dark scrolls from baby typhon eggs, and buying as many 50% pink scrolls as I could when they were at their lowest prices.

You're talking about abusing a glitch, not taking advantage of any event T_T (points at your pink scrolls reference)

this could easily be solved by having variable hour store permits available to everyone for variable Millions of mesos. it's a meso sink that allows for everyone equal access to selling besides the tactic of :
S> ____ @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

On topic though: Hopefully they give a win7/vista solution too (at least try).

May have been a glitch, but Nexon kept it there for the entire duration of the event. Does not mean you should not take advantage of it. Still part of the event, but not how it was intended. Is there anything wrong abusing that sort of a glitch when others are going to benefit off of it too? You chose not to benefit. There is no right or wrong in that scenario. Now I am done being off topic.

Has anyone grabbed the client yet? It's Monday evening local time and Wednesday is a national holiday; if the client doesn't go up tomorrow, the test server may not be available till Thursday.

I think you are talking about glitches there.

Witch Belts?I did get 1 6att belt in Yellonde completely legitly, but just "farming belts" without abusing glitch at a big server would sound unrealistic. You would be lucky to get 1 belt.
50% scrolls? MY FAULT that I did not farm them? Excuse me? I'm from Europe so I can't make new accounts and therefore I couldn't abuse the glitch even if I wanted to.
NX surveys? Again, I'm from Europe and Nexon doesn't let my account to access those.

Don't use the excuse that you're from Europe. It's still possible to get around that problem of living in Europe if you're smart with a program to change your ip.Your witch belt philosophy is unfounded. I'm in Scania, and I farmed quite a bit of belts. I never even abused the Newtie glitch because I was to low leveled.I put time and effort into it and I am not even a high leveled character. The 50% scroll event worked as intended, but it was just abused. Every event gets abused, but does not make your claim valid. You could have changed your ip to create a new account and done some surveys I believe. It's all about how much time and effort you're willing to put forth.

Also, since you're not playing your native version, you will have a different gaming experience. That does not mean your experience is the correct one that everyone else is experiencing. If a proxy program would not have remedied this problem, then all I can say is tough luck. Those who live in the United States, Canada, and Australia have the advantage over you, because they can do nx surveys and participate in those types of events.

But what if we're not smart with programs? And just because YOU could farm a few belts doesn't mean everyone had the oppertunity to. Not to mention if you would actually want to make good money of it you'd have to deal with the factor luck as well. I agree with you on that we've a differnt playing experience and that we deserve that. On a sidenote: Why nexon can't make a version for the whole wide world just goes beyond me... Tongue The point people are trying to make is that nexon should invent a few more ways to make money IN A FUN WAY. I myself farmed pink scrolls and it was extremely boring. Hunting PoT's is one of the things that was actually fun to do in my opinion, but it would still require a bit of effort. Now that's gone to.

The problem from my perspective is that so much stuff can't be earned ingame, that you have to work proportionally harder on the ingame stuff to compensate for all the NX-perks.

When the most you could buy was a looting pet, it wasn't really a big deal to earn money. Why? Cause you could just find your gear directly, scroll it yourself. The money stayed in the game. Now every item you wear requires 100k+ NX to finish, many people train with 2x cards all the time, and so forth. There's no way to earn NX or Cubes ingame, so anything that is ingame loses value - there's simply much more of it available since everybody's farming it, trying to afford the 1 million NX to finish all their armor off.

I know Epic items can drop, can Unique ones? How often do they have good stats? Since the Potential patch came out, I personally have found 1 single Epic item and it had relatively useless stats (2% int 1% luk).

If people were smart they would realize that the tokens last year dropped from every boss. What was the easiest boss to farm from?Lord Pirate. No one does Pirate PQ, you could easily get 3 guild mates or friends in that 55-100 level range and go ahead and have a blasty blast farming. Also theres a fun way to get it. While very long and tedious just go hunt some leps for a long time. It's very possible to get 1m+ in 10 mins at the Creeping Evil.

Is making a ton of mesos supposed to be fun? No, it's not. There are going to be tedious methods involved or else everyone would be walking with a ton of mesos. That's not what we need. The whole point was to just say that the events allowed a huge amount of maplers to make a lot of profit if they used it to their advantage. I was just disproving Satellites idea that events are not a good way to make money. They are a great way to make money is what I am trying to say. Events are not always going to cater to everyone, but if you make an effort to participate in the events, then you'll profit. That's the main idea. This is the last post I am making on this issue. Please pm if you wish to further discuss my points. We're way too off topic, and I apologize for that.
