"Dragon Saga" (Dragonica USA) Phase 2 Beta

It starts in about 10 minutes. Or at least, it SHOULD start in about 10 minutes.


Is anyone playing? I'll get the name of the character I'll be playing once the game is up. In this beta, THQ*ICE accounts can/will be bound to Warp Portal accounts, so you may play with your previously made characters under the old management. You just need the info to your account. Obviously, there will be no wipe this round.

It's kind of like a 3D Maple. Same control system and stuff. It's a bit different, though.




Man, they screwed up more. Lmao. THQ*ICE accounts cannot be logged into. When you try to log in with a THQ*ICE account, you get a "Please check your ID" error. I hope they fix this soon.

Ah! I fixed the issue.

If you're getting the "Please check your ID" issue, go to your WarpPortal account and change the password to your THQ*ICE account. You may have to request a password reset (which is what I had to do).

After that, you should be able to log in successfully.

They're not being DDoS'd, this has been happening for months. They have really shitty services and their forums go down for days at a time.

Meant to say this before but I play; main IGN is Suspicion, 41 Myrmidon. Mostly busy doing dailies and stuff but if anyone needs help with anything I'm around usually. Though not right now.

I have the name LolErich. Level 3x Battlemage (going to be 38 as I post this, but I might get to 40 in a few hours).

I'm playing on the EU version, now and then. Appearantly the US version is so crappy some of their players migrate to Dragonica EU. Got a lvl 63 Shadow Walker there, but I more or less quit because the game is, amazingly enough, even more repetitive than Maple and the company runing it worse than Nexon when it comes to the cash shop. The game has some serious potential though.

I play on the Asia version.

Personally I find the game not too bad; the Achievements system is a good move to motivate players to play more.

I have a few gripes though...

- Thieves are a little hard to play. If you air combo well and are good at not getting hit, then you won't have problems. But if you don't...it will be hell. Of course, this means Thieves aren't good at fighting unlaunchable enemies.
- Acolytes (healers) are overpowered. Diffusion Cannon is a buff that makes your normal attack a shotgun; it fires 3 energy balls instead of one. Naturally, this means Acolytes need not party; they can solo just about anything. Of course, apart from major bosses like Lavalon.
- Archers can be overpowered in the hands of a good player. Launch, then Anti-Air Arrow to death. Of course, against unlaunchable enemies like bosses...Archers suck. Plain and simple.
- Warriors...are average? Nothing much to say really...except that Hammer spammers = major lag. Hammer -> Fire Hammer -> Ice Hammer -> Hammer -> Fire Hammer... Note that this combo flinches and decimates just about everything early-game, but majorly sucks compaed to everything else after the job change.
