JMS Big Bang Tespia Open For All (?)
#21
SwordStaker Wrote:+10 wp attack and +10 m atk will be very coveted. Not to mention if NEXON changes them to have slots and potential.

1) Not really. The only way MoN would be taken seriously is IF they added slots.
2) It will be replaced by something better that comes out eventually.

I think GMS is getting BB patch around the same time.

JMS and GMS have had the last few patches within the same week or so of eachother. To be more accurate, they got DB's and Evan's around when we got DB's.

I'm predicting December 1st.

That's very plausible, unless Nexon actually sticks with their promise of releasing it in Winter, which doesn't start until after halfway into December. Either way, December for Big Bang is a very nice Christmas gift to the players.

Speaking of Big Bang, I made a thread on the JMS website's BBS about Big Bang and everyone just gave negative comments about it, saying how it was trash and they feel sick about it. No one gave specific reasons why, but when I asked why and gave in-depth detail about Big Bang, I got a bunch of thumbs-up. I'm so confused on the Japanese players' views of Big Bang. lmao

I wonder when Nexon will start to allow downloads for the test server client.

JMS can always be tweaked to fit their needs. It's possible it might not follow KMS completely and they could do something like they did with Dual Blades and Evans. Just gotta wait and see :/

Nope. Generally, most players I've talked to before loved previous patches.

=/ I guess.

Gms responded to the BB patch when it was first announced in KMST all the same....

Every single mage: OMFGWTFULTIMATE COOLDOWNZ NOOOOZ!!!
Archers: SE gets nerfed?!?! *sobs*
Dual blades: We get nerfdz tooz? *cries*
Heros: No more brandish?!?! D:

Basicly everyone had a problem with it until they polished it off.

ShiKage Wrote:Speaking of which, that Pirate boss still causes autobans in jMS. I don't think anyone even goes to CWKPQ anymore because of that.

The pirate boss solo bans you; the PQ pirate boss does not.

Yeah the JMS community is strongly against Big Bang from the OP skills being nerfed (mostly ultimates). The people who quit and are eager to come back post-BB wouldn't be playing right now so obviously the comments will be negative overall. I'd say there's less hate towards BB than potential ("Nexon milking us again" - especially since cubes cost twice as much here than anywhere else in the world).

The client download server might have gotten overwhelmed (prolly wasn't using a distributed network). The main server wouldn't be open till the 3rd so not a big deal. You get a medal on your acc in JMS if you participate so I doubt they're limiting the number of testers and they may not even install an IP check as Chinese hackers wouldn't bother farming mesos on a temporary server.

I know I kind of quitted my Bishop, but I still don't understand the fuss about Ultimates? Unless lukless builds are screwed?

Only thing is that I doubt Nexon can ever heal s**tty economy of versions outside korea.

The economy in GMS aint even that broken. But if they really wanted they could just go after some of the top people of the respective servers and perma ban them and their hacking alts for good and make sure their IP is screwed. With some follow up work the economy would then revert back to more normal rates in a matter of months. Of course that is as likely as any 6 star weapon being legitimately made. Slim.

Bishops and AMs today mostly train by spamming their 1- or 2-hitting ultimates at skeles. This is what enables them to be the fastest levellers in 4th job, and to sell leech to fund their potion use and more.
If ultimates get a cooldown, they can no longer be used continuously, and mages will have to find new training methods using new skills (or old skills that have been strengthened in BB). They will likely no longer be able to level so much faster than every other class, nor sell leech. So they'll need to find new ways of funding.
The Archmage playstyle will change drastically and become more like that of physical classes: train by killing monsters few by few, taking several hits to do it; make money by bossing (which they will be able to do effectively) and merching.

Naturally, many people who chose a magician job because they liked the archmage playstyle are not happy about these changes.

I remember the JMS economy recovering from hyperinflation earlier this year from 1 yen = 200,000 mesos down to 40,000 (was 20,000 before). AMs spamming ultimates rapidly used up the excess mesos; nowadays AMs (mostly bishops) hit 200 so not sure how the situation could be resolved.

compare kMS mesos to gMS mesos. You will notice that gMS mesos are worth much less. Besides, in gMS you need to hack or buy nx in order to be rich now.
EDIT:

LOL @ TEASER WEBSITE. http://maplestory.nexon.co.jp/campaign/bigbang.asp

LOLOL

THEY USED SPADOWS TRANSLATED VERSION OF BB COMIC 1. GG. I love how they didn't even give a credit.

I'm actually hoping they'll add Pirate boss to GMS CWKPQ after Big Bang as a surprise.
That would be nice.....anyways guess I'll try jms tespia if its open for all, if I'm bored enough.

I doubt he cares. Everyone knows it's his. Isn't this not the first time they copied without giving credit anyway?

This time they've used a comic. MS versions like to steal things from players without credits. Who doesn't remember the Ariant PQ incident? SEA took Isaac's tutorial, the same images, but didn't give any credit.
.
Also, i don't know why, but it seems JMS is getting an hyperinflation in NP prices.
In Kaede, i used to see those for sale by 40k/P, but once i logged in during Visitors, there were people selling those for 80 or 100k/P

You don't have much experience in gMS do you? Goggleemoticon

gMS is easy to make -millions- of meso in. All you have to know is how to take advantage of the events for the most part, making the right investments to make huge profits. Take the stew making part of the Halloween event for example: The stews are fairly easy to make, only requiring 1~2 hours of work for 33 Stews or so. Although a lot of people are stocking up on them, you can still make a large profit by selling them for even as low as 1mil each. My guildmates have been helping each other to make hundreds and sell them for 1mil each and, of course, have made a few hundred million meso.

Sometimes I make terrible investments and lose millions, but I always seem to pick myself up again during events, putting in the work for my money. Chin

What is the song that plays on JMS's big bang teaser site? It's fucking awesome, I'd consider it even better than Time temple music. I'm assuming it's from the resistance town? or one of the areas around it?
