JapanMS removes 2x EXP tickets

Not really. There's a reason for removing those actually. First, Leveling up events NEVER worked in JMS. 4x EXP vs 1x / 2x would end up in the same people always winning.
With everyone at 1x, it'd be reasonable to make those events again. Also the fact you barely take an hour to level at 12x outside LHC. Imagine that with 2x EXP? People'd be level 180 in just days.

There's a limit to how ''independant'' a company can make their game. They usually have to obtain permission in order to screw with the game files that Wizet makes(I'm not sure if this is valid anymore since I think Nexon bought Maple from wizet.). That's how it goes in a lot of gaming companys. They can't just say: ''Oh hey, lets let genesis hit 2000% base damage and have a 100% crit rate with 500% damage!'' Wizet would be on their ass for that. They probably got permission to remove them from the cash shop, which is a less sensitive issue than actually changing some hardcore stuff in the game.

Gachapon plays a roll on the economy too. As for 2x cards, they make leveling a bit easier. The price on them is pretty damn cheap too (2k NX compared to 1k NX for Gacha). Now if this was implemented during the big bang, then maybe it'd be more understanding. However that would be completely up to nexon themselves and us to find out.

Role in economy? You mean making 60% scrolls deflate->bossing useless. Gachapon is doing nothing but bad for the market.

This is the case in all versions, but only one of the reasons I hate 2x cards.

Well, gacha tickets are 100 NP, while 2x cards are 1000NP.
Gachas are really not worth it, unless you try to exchange in El Nath due to the good items / item for the Stat pet equipment, but still, i don't see anything wrong with removing those.

How is bossing useless again? Bosses main drops are not scrolls what game are you playing? SKILLS! Boss skill drops server a huger profit than scrolls, Shadow shifter 20 goes for 80m also if your the only one who has it you can set the price to anything you want.

2x card removal is part of Big Bang. Which is coming in 27 days to JMS. All double or partially increased experience methods are heavily changed in Big Bang.

And no, JMS doesn't have any more of a habit of nerfing things then GMS does. And..

Huh? Of course they do...zhelms are a prime example.

Name others. In the recent years nothing has been nerfed. Nerfing is better then overpowering things, anyways.

Where is the proof, where is the evidence, where are the patch notes that say that the removal of 2x cards is part of Big Bang?

Nerfing of supply of dark scrolls. (knuckles specifically, from what i heard from justin some time ago they are really rare) Nerfing of supply of chaos scrolls. (until recently, i think) Pretty much everything justin has ranted about against JMS on this forum.

Nerfing zhelms alone, due to being such a huge facet of the equipment system in this game, would make JMS more nerf happy than GMS is. The nerfs are kind of made up by the other things we get that others don't (for JMS, +30 stat cursing pets, etc).

Well, yeah. That's a better answer then metaseraphim just giving a blunt fact like he always does. In the end, it balances it out.

But I know at least family 2x was affected by big bang. I'm not sure to the extent of previous 2x was affected. KMS never actually HAD 2x cards, so.. I guess I can't really make that an example. So much about big bang is undocumented as we've all discovered.

I wouldn't say it balances out but the exclusives definitely top the power scale in JMS' favor. (compared to KMS) If they remove 2x cards in JMS of course family nerfing will follow, because that's part of big bang like you said. 1.5x fam rep should be great for training in general but i only hope it's easier to get reps. I don't have a family and getting reps was always a huge challenge for me.

I wouldn't say it's undocumented, just unorganized.

The fact that KMS nerfed family rep from 2x to 1.2x(?) Should be enough proof.

Same reason they removed Scissors of Karma.

JMS likes using the nerf stick but they also like making their game have as little to do with KMS as possible. It's kind of weird how "private server"-like JMS is, with their rewritten storylines, repeatedly expanded World Tour (unlike GMS which has truly expanded Masteria a grand total of once), and large list of items that KMS doesn't have.
