No chance of Evie.

No chance of Evie.
Edit: Wait a second, they said they're adding Halloween content. Why would they add Halloween content in a maintenance?

....well butter my backside and call me a biscuit o_o

you're right, and now I have no idea what to call this thing.

Although, in my opinion, Ainle already gives off the Halloween vibe =X

Tin hat foil time!

Evie = Magician = Witch = Halloween= ??? = Profit!

Nexon in an interview a while ago:

Steparu: Are you planning on releasing the Mage class, Evy right away? Or will you wait a month or two like the Korean version did?

Chris: Not immediately, but she will be available before full commercial release. She won't be available in Closed Beta but soon after, Maybe around Open Beta. Evy will be one of the first updates that we will have for Vindictus.

G4 says the game will release on October 27th. Meaning full commercial release. That's a week from now.

Assuming Nexon is correct (which is 60% of the time), Evie should come out in tomorrow's patch, as I highly doubt that they will do another patch between today and next week.

There shouldn't be sides because there's nothing to argue.
It's nexon, you're lucky they even type it in English let alone a consistent vocabulary.
All patches are "scheduled maintenance". All Scheduled Maintenance are not patches.

Sweet, she's coming out soon. I can't wait. Big Grin

Question: Is the Secondary Weapon Mastery skill out by any chance? ):

GRRR I WAS HOPING FOR THIS WEEK BUT I GUESS I CAN DEAL WITH NEXT WEEK.

They probably will release the Scythe, as they mentioned it in the blog.

Also, question: what are the stats of the Demon Horn Headband and is it permanent?

Flip was talking about the skill Secondary Weapon Mastery. And no, I don't believe they have released it yet, unless I'm missing something.

Oops, I misinterpreted.

Anyways, I'm tired of everyone complaining about the new token system on every forum (except Southerry) I meet. You idiots. Nexon/Devcat needs to make money off of this game SOMEHOW. 12 hours of game play per week is a REASONABLE AMOUNT of playing VINDICTUS for FREE. You goddamm idiots. How else would Nexon make money? Anyways, it's not like you're barred from the game. You could still do the "noob" dungeons and with the new "Today" system, you could get a reasonable amount of AP from it. Jesus Christ.

Yeah, just finally reading up on what's going on. Ah well... it was good while it lasted, and I did manage to complete the Ainle chapter before all of this went down, so it's all good.

You mean the party Goddess Grace? Eh... I could just have the party feather that's easily forgable from Brynn and use that instead.

Quote:These higher-tier abilities will be added to the game, along with new zones to explore by boat on a "very regular basis." For instance, Nexon expects to add new zones to the game every four to six weeks, with the eventual goal of keeping up with the release of the original Asian version of the game within a period of three months' worth of updates (in other words, the Nexon team hopes to localize and push through all the new content from the more-mature Asian version of the game no more than three months after that content makes it into that version). Larger-scale updates, such as new playable characters, may take closer to a year to add. Evie, on the other hand, will be available in just two more days on October 27.

Not too bad. Does this imply that we're not too far off from the "Extreme version" in a couple of months?
