A Quiet Little Town - Game Over, town wins
No, I honestly regret not removing my vote on E6 the day before, and I don't want to be part of another failed lynch. We know the firefighter is out there, the arsonist was blocked the other night. If Mira is fake-claiming, the real firefighter has no reason not to counter-claim. Until I see that happen I'm inclined to believe her.

You've got one day to prove yourself Mira. I don't care how.

Can't Dusk investigate me?

Except that the arsonist is still out there, and roleclaiming would make them a huge target.

@ Mira, I said I don't care how you do it or don't. You've got one day.

If somebody DOES counter-claim Mira, then it's extremely probable that Mira is in fact the arsonist. Failing that, she's mafia. And with the dwindling number of players, if she's not the arsonist, it shouldn't be hard to find the real one. Honestly, it would be pretty dumb for Mira to fake-claim a role like firefighter.

On top of that, how would the lynch backfire on me specifically if I retained my vote on Mira? I wasn't the one who started the lynch on Mira, I don't think it really reflects anything on me other than following our detective.

If she was indeed telling the truth, the already-present suspicion on you would be ramped up.

I don't know whether to change my vote or not.

Honestly, if you're not lying Meph, your death will probably get me lynched. But then again, if you aren't lying and you live, you'll probably kill me anyway. Either way, I die and the mafia/arsonist gets one more over us, so I think I'll stay with Mira for now and just hope that you'll kill the right person.

If they're telling the truth,
Mira - purely defensive role. No chance of accidentally killing a townie
Mephisto - purely offensive role. Significant chance of accidentally killing a townie.

What's more, if Mira's really the firefighter, she is probably the only person who can block the arsonist.

Ehhhhh.... fine. Let's just hope you're right.

I guess all I can say is that, if you keep me around, I can guarantee a mafian death tonight. I know enough by now to pick out whose time has come.

I'll investigate Mira tonight, but I don't know about my odds of surviving.

Well, there are a few priority targets - you, mute, mephisto (if not lying), mira (if not lying)
Mephisto (if not lying) has a kill
Arsonist (if not limited) has a kill
Mafia has a kill

A lot can happen tonight. Mephisto, you had damned well better not be lying.

I'm still really skeptical of Mira, Mephisto, BTA, Jon, and Kurtle. I don't find it likely that both Mira and Mephisto are telling the truth.

Or you haven't, but trust him, and want to give him a chance?

I'm voting for one of the three. As of right now Kurtle is the only one not here defending himself.

I'm assuming there's kill priority, so here's hoping you actually get that kill in.

I'm switching back to Mira. I suspect her more than Kurtle at this point, though that could easily change.

Ugh, this is exactly what whichever of them is mafia wants - to keep us guessing.
I promised Mira that I would give her one day to prove herself. Mephisto can prove himself tonight via his kill. I'm sticking with Kurtle.

I don't think it really matters if they can prove themselves innocent or not. What we need is a successful lynch today. Let's take a look at the score here. There are probably 5 mafia members total, and maybe 1 neutral. Two mafia members are dead, leaving 3.

If me (Dusk), MasPan, Mute, CJ, and Jon are all townies, then at least 3 out of 4 of the remaining must be mafia, and the score is either 5:3:1 or 6:3. BTA, Mira, and Mephisto cannot all be telling the truth. Our odds of picking one of them and getting a mafia member are pretty good. If we do pick incorrectly and get a townie, and the mafia gets a successful night kill, we'll be at 3:3:1, a mafia win, or a 4:3 where we almost certainly know the identity of every mafia member.

e.g. We lynch Mira today and she turns out to be a townie. One of us dies at night. In that case, Kurtle, BTA, and Mephisto are pretty much confirmed mafia. As long as the town members actually participate, night actions don't pineapple things up, and there's no neutral, it's a town win. That's a lot of assumptions, though, so we need a succesful lynch.

I'm not advocating any decision here, just laying out my thinking.
