One account can be logged in multiple times

Describe the problem. Be as specific as possible!:
Apparently, the fix for the "account already logged in" bug went too far. It is now possible to log in multiple times with the same account, as long as different characters are selected.
(Attempting to use the same character results in the client closing but not exiting, necessitating its task-manager termination before Maple can be run again).

BTW, for those of you who are considering abusing the obvious dupe glitches this makes, be aware explaining or discussing the how of them in too much detail will get you in trouble here AND the way they work is highly trackable on the database side so if you abuse them don't post here whining about having been banned for it or stripped naked and dropped in a tub of jell-o with rabid weasels or whatever because you 'didnt know it was a glitch',

I must be slow but I don't see the duping possibilities. Most likely since I have yet to attempt this. Does it reset your character or something?

It's more so as a way of warning me so I don't do this by accident to get another of my accounts banned.

Rather hard to tell you what not to do without telling everyone else what to do, as it were.

Would you say abusing the double log on could permit a ban? As in, using the priest in the same account to HS or something towards the main character of the same account.

It's a glitch, so I would just avoid doing it at all.

They can declare pretty much anything glitch abuse.
Using the double login to HS yourself, leech yourself, or anything similar could easily be considered botting or account sharing, since you're either playing two characters simultaneously in a manner they don't agree with or letting someone else play one of you while you play the other, which they don't agree with.

Do it at your own risk. It's unlikely to result in a ban compared to the other issues they'll have to worry about, but it's not impossible that they'll just outright ban everyone who logged on simultaneously and consider you all guilty until proven innocent as usual.

one of the only things that I would use from this, would be putting myself into my own family.

but... i cant even log into maplestory without dcing, so why bother?

Thought I'd reply to this anyways, I heard from my friend that it was fixed and I double confirmed it myself as well. Looks like everyone's hopes was just shot down lol, although it is super nice.
