It could be half a MB worth of files but we would still need to download for all the quests to activate, add in the areas. fix the spawns etc.

Sure, they might patch for one reason or another. Do they have to? No, as SaptaZapta already explained, the client has all it needs to start the event as it is.

Right I know that Tykian had explained that. I guess I didn't explain myself too well. I guess what I should have said is L>Halloween Maintenance. Does that make more sense?/More correct?

I'm really annoyed with the absence of a Halloween patch. Especially since Eurydice's blog said there would be Halloween content.

Enjoy the Halloween and Thanksgiving events, take lots of screenshots and video, go to your favorite secluded hunting spot, run classic PQs, and make the most of what MapleStory is right now!

They're going to have some sort of patch or maintenance most likely for Halloween I still believe. We have always had a Halloween patch for the most part. Not having one seems a little odd. My reasoning behind this:

1. Ghost Ship PQ(not sure if the data we have is complete or not yet)
2. Dark Tokens
3. Currently Olivia is dropping ludi pq passes I believe. So they have to change dolls to drop.
4. Krexel Card has no name on it, which needs fixed.
5. Any gachapon related items they may add this year, unless they just reuse old items.
6. Adding and triggering quests
7. Move Malady's npc to other town's besides Perion.

Last year's patch was on the 21st. So, it was around this time.

3. no guarantee olivia will be back this year, her being accessible could be a glitch. if not, drops and such are serverside and can be fixed without a patch
4. krexel card won't be available until november 3rd
5. gach is serverside. can be done during maintenance

7. who says she needs to be elsewhere? she was only in kerning for the longest time.

there doesn't need to be a patch for a while yet. even the patch on the third isn't a necessity since the area seems to be fully implemented and ready to opens it's doors on that day. the card might not even drop; not that it matters since new cards cause the shuffle again. chances are we will be getting minor halloween events but there's no evidence for anything beyond that, unfortunately. i love halloween so it's a pretty big bummer.

I actually don't everyone here just thinks I do. What was that lucky guess? If you mean Big Bang that was common sense. I don't curse out anyone on this forums other than the she-devil. I make mistakes I'm human and I can see when I'm wrong and when I'm right and so far with any content discussions I've been about 70% right. If there is indeed a patch next week I get the "I told you so" rights, same thing with Masteria. However with Masteria I'm not going to sit here and try and drill why I think it's coming back into peoples minds anymore I'm just going to take what Loose told me to heart and just sit back and if it comes celebrate if it does no harm no foul. Also where was I trying to validate my views? Maybe you people should really read over what I say more often and where I correct myself.
